How to get to the hotel Delos and Institut Pasteur.
The best and cheap way to travel in Paris is by Metro, RER and Bus.
Please visit this site for example: http://www.aparisguide.com/maps/metro.htm
to be familiar with the Paris Metro (use google search for other sites).
The Hotel Delos (http://www.hotel-delos-vaugirard-paris.com/ ) is close to the Metro station:

The Institut Pasteur (http://www.pasteur.fr/ip/easysite/go/03b-000028-028/institutpasteur/address-and-access ) is close to the Metro station: Pasteur (line 6, line 12).
The Hotel Meditel (http://www.lemeditel.com/acces.php) is close to the Metro station:
Pasteur (line 6, line 12).
Important note: Paris is secure but you should be alert particularly in the Metro and in
tourist areas. Beware pickpockets, particularly in crowded areas and when entering or
leaving the Metro.
A. From Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG terminal 1, 2 or 3) to Hotel Delos :
- Take the RER B (Regional Express Network line B).
If you are arriving in terminal 1 or 3, you may need to take an interconnecting metro to
RER B, Charles de Gaulle 2 station.
You need an RER ticket to Paris (available in automatics boxes. You may pay cash or with
international bank cards). This same ticket can be used in the RER and the Metro as long as
you not leave the underground.
-There are omnibus trains and direct trains to the “Gare du Nord” station.
Take the direct one (faster and more secure for the same price).
-Leave the train at the station: “Chatelets les Halles” for correspondence.
Look for line 4 (Direction Porte d’Orléans) and get out from the train in the
“Montparnasse Bienvenue” station and look for correspondence to Line 12 (Direction
Mairie d’Issy).
-Leave the train at the station “Vaugirard”. The hotel is only few meters from there.
Note the Institut Pasteur is only few minutes walk from the Hotel.
B. From Orly (south or West) Airport to Hotel Delos
-Take the Bus 215 till the bus terminus in front of the metro station: “Denfert Rochereau”.
- Take the Metro line 6 (Direction Charles de Gaulle Etoile),
- Get out of the train in the metro station “Pasteur”. Correspondence to line 12 (Direction
Marie d’Issy)
-Get out at the metro station “Vaugirard”. The hotel is only few meters from there.
Note you will need a Bus ticket and a metro ticket.
C. From Gare du Nord to the Hotel Delos.
- Take the metro line 4 (Direction Porte d’Orléans),
- Get out of the metro at the “Montpanasse bienvenue” station,
- Correspondence to line 12 (Direction Marie d’Issy),
- Get out at the metro station “Vaugirard”).
D. To Institut Pasteur
Similar starting directions, but get out of the Metro at the “Pasteur” station.
Walk slightly upward and turn right to the street “Rue Docteur Roux”.
The Institut Pasteur is situated at the number 25 and 28:

The first time you should go through the gate situated at the 25 rue du Dr Roux, where you
will get a badge (see details below).
E. To the Le Meditel Hotel
For the few colleagues who are going to stay in he Hotel Meditel, get out at the metro station
“Pasteur”. The hotel is situated at the boulevard Pasteur few meters from the metro station:

Access to the Institut Pasteur
The course will take place in the Institut Pasteur, 28, rue du Dr Roux, 75724 Paris
cedex 15, France, in the Module number 5, Building 06:

The 2 last days conferences will take place in the Amphitheatre Jacques Monod (25, rue du
Dr Roux, 75724 Paris cedex 15).
Access to the Institut Pasteur is strictly controlled. You will have to respect the security rules.
In order to be allowed to access the Institut Pasteur during the course period, you will be
given a specific badge with your name and photo, that you should wear visibly when entering
and during your stay inside the Institut Pasteur.
Badges will be distributed on July 5th at 8:15. You will need to show a formal identity
document (passport). Students will be photographed so that the photo will appear with the
name on the badge.
The badge will also be used to access the cantine for lunch.
Please note that it is impossible to enter the Institut Pasteur without this badge.
Invited colleagues will follow the same security rules, but they will not be photographed,
since most of them are going to stay for only a short period.
