someone you don’t know well. You can say Bonjour or Salut to your
family and friends. You say Bonne nuit last thing at night.

on: in bonjour sounds like {ong}, without saying the ‘g’. Try and say

the English word ‘song’ stopping short before the ‘g’. Then try
bonjour.
u: in tu and salut. Round your lips as if to say {oo} but say {ee}

Tambour, piano, trompette, flûte à bec and guitare are nouns. Note that
the English article ‘a’ is either un -for masculine nouns or une -for
feminine nouns. When you learn a new noun, you also need to learn its
gender, masculine or feminine!
