ENTRY OF CHASSIS MAKES
FOR THE 2011 CIK-FIA “U18” WORLD KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP

The participation of chassis Makes in the 2011 CIK-FIA “U18” World Karting Championship (hereafter
called “the Championship”) is subject to a specific entry at the CIK-FIA prior to 18 February 2011.
The representative of the Make guarantees the supply of the chassis (and of their accessories)
necessary for the Drivers entered in the Championship and undertakes to be represented at each
Championship Event and at the official CIK-FIA test day.
Entering a Make in the Championship implies that the Make:
- sells or rents to the Drivers strictly identical chassis (without front brakes) of one single
model/type homologated by the CIK-FIA (homologation expiring in 2011 or 2014) and strictly
identical accessories, at a maximum agreed price corresponding to the usual retail sale price,
all items being listed in a catalogue approved by the CIK-FIA (references, photographs,
drawings, weights and price of the chassis and of each accessory);
- accepts that a minimum of 20 examples of these same chassis and an agreed number of each
accessory (according to appended list) be marked by the CIK-FIA before 12 May 2011, in order
to be identified and then distributed randomly to the Drivers under the supervision of at least
one CIK-FIA Official;
- guarantees that the marked equipment will be neither distributed nor used before the official
test day;
- pays to the CIK-FIA the entry fee for “Participation of chassis makes in the Championship”
amounting to 1,180 euros (this fee includes: a retrocession of 140 euros to each Organiser and
the manufacturing costs for a flag bearing the effigy of the make, which will be placed at the
venue of each Event) and the travelling expenses of the CIK-FIA Official entrusted with
marking the chassis and accessories.

La participation des Marques de châssis au Championnat du Monde « M18 » CIK-FIA de Karting 2011
(ci-après « le Championnat ») fait l’objet d’une inscription spécifique auprès du Secrétariat de la CIKFIA avant le 18 février 2011.
Le représentant de la Marque garantit la fourniture des châssis (et de leurs accessoires) nécessaires
pour les Pilotes inscrits au Championnat et s’engage à être représenté sur chacune des épreuves du
Championnat et de la journée de tests officiels CIK-FIA.
L’engagement d’une Marque au Championnat implique de sa part :
- qu’elle vende ou loue aux Pilotes des châssis (sans freins avant), d’un seul et même
modèle/type homologué CIK-FIA (expiration en 2011 ou 2014), strictement identiques, et des
accessoires, strictement identiques, à un tarif maximum convenu et correspondant aux prix de
vente « public » d’usage, le tout répertorié dans un catalogue approuvé par la CIK-FIA
(références, photos, dessins, poids et prix du châssis et de chaque accessoire) ;
- qu’elle accepte que 20 exemplaires minimum de ces mêmes châssis et un nombre convenu de
chacun des accessoires (selon liste en annexe) soient marqués par la CIK-FIA avant le 12 mai
2011, pour être identifiés et ensuite distribués de façon aléatoire aux Pilotes sous le contrôle
d’au moins un Officiel de la CIK-FIA ;
- qu’elle s’engage à ce que le matériel marqué ne soit ni distribué, ni utilisé avant la journée de
tests officiels ;
- qu’elle s’acquitte auprès de la CIK-FIA du droit d’inscription « Participation des marques de
châssis au Championnat » de 1.180 euros (lequel droit comprend : une rétrocession de 140
euros à chaque organisateur et les frais de fabrication d’un drapeau/flamme à l’efigie de la
marque qui sera placé sur le lieu de chacune des épreuves) et qu’elle couvre les frais de
déplacement de l’Officiel CIK-FIA chargé du marquage des châssis et accessoires.
