their impacts on access, quality, and costs of health care services
Dr. Strumpf will present key findings from her research agenda examining the impacts of GMFs on primary health care and the Quebec’s health care
system as a whole. Since 2009, Dr. Strumpf and her research team have used administrative and survey data, in combination with quasiexperimental methods, to evaluate the effects of team-based primary care on access to and quality of primary care services, and on health care
costs. She will present an overview of results, discuss methodological strengths and challenges, and highlight remaining questions and potential
avenues for future research in this area.
