Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus
reveals its “tailor-made” products designed
to serve Bordeaux Fine Wines.
During the Vinexpo Hong Kong exhibition from May 27 to 29, 2014, Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus
will be presenting on its stand NP12 - Level 3 - Hall 3, its “Made in Bordeaux” expertise applied to the
production of custom gift packs designed to set off the very best Bordeaux wines.
Alongside its partners from
McLaren Hong Kong, who will
be featuring on the stand the
650S Spider, their very latest
model, Cordier Mestrezat will be
displaying a range of bottles from
the greatest Grands Crus Classés
estates of Bordeaux, from the
half-bottle all the way up to the
Melchior (18 litres).
The firm, which will shortly be
celebrating its bicentenary, will
highlight several exceptional items:
the “Cordier 8Box®”, a brand new
case for 8 Great Wines, together
with the “Cordier Golden 4Box®
1893, L’Unique” with its 4 bottles of
Château d’Yquem 1893, put up for
auction at the starting price on this
occasion of 250,000 euros.

The art of “tailor-made” products as seen by Cordier Mestrezat
Grands Crus and McLaren
Just one year shy of its Bicentenary (18152015), Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus
shares with its partners from McLaren a
determinedly visionary spirit focused on
ambition, innovation and the drive for
perfection. On the strength of the latest
events jointly organised in 2013 – the Test
Drive through the Bordeaux vineyards,
the Dinner of the Wine & Business Club
in Monte-Carlo with Château Montrose
in the presence of Prince Albert II or at
the Geneva Motor Show - the Convergent
Experiences continue to move forward.
McLaren Hong Kong will be featuring the
650S Spider, their latest creation, offering
the occasion to illustrate all the art of the
custom build, between a collection of fully
customizable cars and a series of deluxe gift
packs for Great Wines fashioned entirely
by hand by Bordeaux craftsmen, designed
to meet the stringent demands of the same
upmarket clientele.
From the Cordier Mareuil 4Box® in real python skin designed specially for an Asian winelover to that crafted with the initials of private clients, Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus will
be opening the doors of its “tailor-made” workshop.
All lovers of great Bordeaux wines will have the chance to dream up the case which will
best highlight their wines: choice of the wine, outer finish in smooth or grainy leather,
colour of the leather, corners and locks, interior finishes in doe-skin, embossing of their
initials, and more.
New in 2014: the 8Box®,
the case of 8 Great
Bordeaux Wines
Following on from the Cordier 4Box® (the case for 4 bottles of wine
launched in 2008), Cordier Mestrezat Grands Crus is now launching
the first case for 8 Great Bordeaux Wines “Made in Bordeaux”, a subtle
reference to the lucky charm (八) in China. Crafted in Bordeaux, the
8Box®, engraved with the effigy of the chateaux it contains, can be
adapted to meet the desires of all aficionados who can customize the
contents by selecting the wines of their dreams. A revolution in the
world of tailor-made deluxe gift boxes.
It will be unveiled at Vinexpo Hong Kong with a vintage collection of
Château Pouget – a Margaux Grand Cru Classé in 1855 and member
of the Club Elite.

Cordier Golden 4Box 1893, L’Unique®:
when liquid gold meets solid gold
Cordier Mestrezat will be revealing an
item truly unique in the world, both for
the box and for the wines lovingly couched
inside. The “Cordier Golden 4Box 1893,
L’Unique®” is a genuine Made in Bordeaux
feat fashioned by a Bordeaux designer,
Véronique Debord.
Decorated with panels in 24-carat gold
according to ancestral techniques, the artist
produced a masterpiece for the greatest
of all Sauternes wine, the famous Château
d’Yquem, 1st Grand Cru Classé Supérieur
of Sauternes.
The “Cordier Golden 4Box 1893, L’Unique®”
has been designed to set off four exceptional
bottles of the 1893, one of the most
remarkable vintages ever crafted by the
Château.
To reflect its golden colour, Cordier
Mestrezat has included in this chest a
genuine engraved gold ingot of 1 kilo, thus
achieving a French masterpiece where
liquid gold and solid gold come together.
There will only be one “Cordier Golden
4Box 1893, L’Unique®” in the world, that
will be put up for auction during Vinexpo
Hong Kong at the starting price of 250,000
euros.
