CURRICULUM VITAE Gisèle Clofent-Sanchez, born April 1960 Married, 2 children. Degrees and diplomas 1989 : PhD Biochemistry, Immunology, Molecular Biology (University of Montpellier2) 1992: Recruited as CNRS researcher 2001 : HDR (Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches) (University of Bordeaux2) Present situation Director of Research CNRS (CNRS UMR 5536/University Bordeaux Segalen) 146 rue Léo Saignat (case 93), F-33076 Bordeaux cedex E. mail: [email protected]; Tel: +33 5 57 57 11 75/ +33 6 11 45 46 93 ; Fax: : +33 5 57 57 45 56 FIELD OF RESEARCH: Molecular Imaging and therapy of atheroma using human antibodies HEAD OF Molecular Targeting of Atheroma group in UMR 5536. My focus is on translational research from the conception of human recombinant antibodies to their transfer in potential diagnostic and/or therapeutic agents. I have acquired expertise in in vivo selections to have access to antibodies recognizing molecules in the microenvironment context. My field of interest extends now to contrast agents, imaging modalities and theranostic strategies to accurately target multi-modal nanoparticles loaded with iron oxide and medicine to its intended goal, with the intention of maximising effectiveness and minimising side effects. Supervisions PHD : (1) Jeanny Laroche-Traineau, CNRS engineer ; (2) Sophie Lucas-Samuel, Pharmacist in AFSSAPS; (3) Marie-Josée Jacobin, CNRS engineer ; (4) Laurent Macchi, Doctor ; (5) Julie Vialard, Pharmacist in hospital; (6) Rémy Robert : 2007, post-doc in Australie; (7) Kamel Déramchia : 2010, medical studies; (8) Mélusine Larivière : 2013 (IdEx (Initiative d’Excellence) grant) in co-direction with Christoph Hagemeyer; (9) Audrey Hémadou (Director of thesis: Marie-Josée Jacobin-Valat): 2014 (grants from Région Aquitaine and ANR ATHERANOS) POST-DOCTORANTS Christoph Hagemeyer (CNRS) ; Sophie Lajus (Lilly France) ; Marie-Pierre Barrouillet (OSEO) ; Stéphane Bonetto (CNRS, IMATHABIO) ; Amélie Vallet (CNRS, IMATHABIO) ; Line Pourtau (LIRYC) Publications during the last 5 years Patent« Antibodies for molecular imaging of vulnerable plaques in atherosclerosis ».
