Présentation Générale du LGEM
Le LGEM, créé en 2003, a pour mission de promouvoir une recherche pluridisciplinaire
qui vise l’acquisition de nouvelles connaissances scientifiques et de savoir-faire
technologiques dans les domaines du Génie Biologique, principalement la Technologie
Enzymatique et la Microbiologie Appliquée, disciplines scientifiques et techniques
importantes des Biotechnologies. Le laboratoire a pour mission également de promouvoir la
formation de scientifiques et d’ingénieurs dans le domaine du Génie Biologique.
Le laboratoire est dirigé par le Professeur Moncef NASRI et compte 30 personnes, dont
une dizaine d’enseignants-chercheurs qui encadrent des étudiants en thèse ou master.
Le laboratoire regroupe plusieurs équipes de compétences complémentaires dans les
domaines de la microbiologie, la biochimie, le Génie Enzymatique et le Génie Génétique.
Le LGEM est un ensemble dans lequel les collaborations horizontales sont très
importantes. Plusieurs chercheurs interviennent dans plusieurs thèmes.
