The new Lumene range available now !
Because Home Cinema is not the privilege of the wealthiest, Lumene has developed and marketed a
range of projection screens with unbeatable price for value since 2003.
2008 will stand as a major breakthrough in the history of the young French manufacturer. Lumene
has indeed decided to reshape its entire brand during the year, in order to make it even more
performing, and maintaining the same price level… Ambitious challenge… The ultimate goal being to
offer new features, a modern look, and above all, a better integration of the products in the “home”
environment, while remaining at an affordable price range… Successful bet! Lumene announces a
new 2008 range featuring innovative technologies and improved performance for the same price tag
than the previous generation!!!
To maintain the continuity of the line up, Lumene has decided to keep the names of the existing
products, and to add simply an extension showing the renewal (“Premium” or “2” for today’s
concerned ranges). In May, we reveal the new Capitol, Majestic, Coliseum, Plazza, Embassy and
Eden.
The Premium range
This range contains henceforth the Capitol Premium (top of the range manual model), the Majestic
Premium (top of the range motorized model), and the Coliseum Premium (tab-tensioned motorized
model).
All the Premium screens are equipped with the following novelties: Very elegant aluminum
lacquered case (black or white), wall and ceiling mounting with railing system (allowing a total
flexibility of the hanging points), easy clipping and locking system (the installation can be easily done
by a single installer).
The manual Capitol Premium screens adopts an absolutely
innovative system to adjust the screen. You pull the screen to the
required height, you maintain the position for 3 seconds, you let it
go… The fabric is adjusted with accuracy to the millimeter! The
Capitol Premium is equipped with the SSR System (Smooth Screen
Rising) guaranteeing a gentle screen rise (from 249 Euros retail).
The motorized screens Majestic Premium and Coliseum
Premium are equipped with a built-in remote control system,
giving unlimited control possibilities (IR, RS232, 12V trigger,
deported IR sensor), the remote control is also included.
This control panel is altogether revolutionary on this kind of screen
(from 799 € retail).The Coliseum Premium also integrates a new
fabric tension adjustment system. The motor used is still SOMFY
made, token of reliability and silence.
The « 2 » range
The « 2 » range includes the Plazza 2 (manual) and the Embassy 2 (motorized) indeed constituting
the « economical » Lumene offer.
Plazza 2 and Embassy 2 are also equipped with a white lacquered
aluminum thin case. Its finesse ensures a discrete integration.
Plazza 2 is now available in 4:3 and 16:9 formats (exit the 1:1
format). The fabric sizes have also been diversified. The Plazza 2
can henceforth be enjoyed from 150 cm to 240 cm width (from 129 €
retail).
The Embassy 2, as for it, is delivered pre-cabled, with its built-in
command module (IR) and its remote control (from 349 € retail for
the 170 cm model).
The “Premium” and “2” offers are available NOW !
ALSO AVAILABLE IN MAY : the pantograph motorized screen EDEN
Available in 150 cm and 180 cm width (16:9 format) Eden is a pop up
screen, motorized by SOMFY. The briefcase transporting the projection
system is elegant and discrete. It will find its place anywhere. The Eden
can change any room into a top of the range Home Theater space.
Available from 1290 € retail.

La nouvelle gamme Lumene enfin disponible !
Parce que le Home Cinéma n’est plus l’apanage d’un public fortuné, Lumene développe et commercialise,
depuis 2003, une gamme d’écrans de projection au rapport qualité/prix imbattable.
L’année 2008 s’inscrira comme un tournant majeur dans la jeune histoire de la marque française. En
effet, le fabricant Lumene a décidé de remanier toute sa gamme au cours de l’année, afin de la rendre
plus performante, tout en conservant la même tarification… Challenge ambitieux… L’objectif ultime étant
donc de proposer de nouvelles fonctions, un look plus moderne, et surtout une meilleure intégration des
produits dans l’univers « home », tout en conservant une gamme de prix abordable… Pari réussi ! Lumene
annonce une collection 2008 plus innovante, plus performante, plus technologique, dans une gamme de
prix qui demeure très accessible et surtout identique à l’ancienne génération.
Dans un souci de clarté et de continuité, Lumene a décidé de conserver les noms des produits existant
depuis 2003, en y apposant simplement une déclinaison marquant l’ère du renouveau (« Premium » ou
« 2 » pour les gammes aujourd’hui concernées). Nous découvrons en Mai les nouveaux Capitol, Majestic,
Coliseum, Plazza, Embassy et Eden.
La gamme Premium
Cette gamme regroupe désormais le Capitol Premium (modèle manuel haut-de-gamme), le Majestic
Premium (modèle électrique haut-de-gamme) et le Coliseum Premium (modèle électrique « tensionné »).
Tous les écrans Premium sont équipés des nouveautés suivantes : Carter en aluminium laqué très élégant
(blanc ou noir), système de fixation murale ou plafond par rail (permettant une flexibilité totale de la
position des points d’accroche) au moyen du système « clic & lock ». Le système de maintien et de blocage
de l’écran facilite la mise en place et ne nécessite plus l’intervention de plusieurs personnes lors de
l’installation.
L’écran manuel Capitol Premium adopte un système de réglage de la
hauteur de toile tout à fait novateur. On descend l’écran à la hauteur
souhaitée, on le maintient 3 secondes en position, on lâche… L’écran
est ajusté au millimètre près ! Le Capitol Premium s’équipe du système
SSR (Smooth Screen Rising) qui garantit une remontée d’écran toute en
douceur (à partir de 249 Euros TTC).
Les écrans électriques Majestic Premium et Coliseum Premium
s’équipent d’un boitier de télécommande intégré au carter, donnant
des possibilités de pilotage illimitées (IR, RS232, 12v trigger, report
d’IR), la télécommande est également de série. Ce boitier de pilotage
est totalement révolutionnaire sur ce type d’écran (à partir
de 799 € TTC). Le Coliseum Premium intègre également un nouveau
système de réglage de tension de toile. Les moteurs utilisés sont
toujours signés SOMFY, gage de fiabilité et de silence.
La gamme « 2 »
La gamme « 2 » réunit le Plazza 2 (manuel) et l’Embassy 2 (électrique) constituant de fait l’offre
« économique » Lumene.
Plazza 2 et Embassy 2 s’équipent eux aussi d’un élégant carter en
aluminium blanc laqué dont la finesse garantit une intégration discrète.
Plazza 2 est maintenant disponible en format 4 :3 et 16 :9 (exit le
format 1 :1). Les tailles de toile ont également été diversifiées, le
Plazza 2 s’apprécie dorénavant de 150 cm à 240 cm de base (à partir
de 129 € TTC).
L’écran Embassy 2, quant à lui, est livré pré-câblé, avec son module de
commande intégré au carter (IR) et sa télécommande de série (à partir
de 349 € TTC pour le modèle 170 cm).
Tous ces écrans sont immédiatement disponibles à la vente en France.
EGALEMENT DISPONIBLE EN MAI : l’écran pantographe électrique EDEN
Disponible en 150 cm et 180 cm de base (format 16:9) Eden est un écran
valise motorisé par SOMFY. La mallette qui transporte le système de projection
est élégante et discrète, elle trouvera sa place dans tous les recoins. L’Eden
transforme n’importe quelle pièce en un espace de Home Cinéma haut-degamme. Disponible en France à partir de 1290 €.
