A New Jordanian MSc in Water Management and Desalination
Engineering (JoMDE)
The project aims to enhance and modernize the capabilities of the
Jordanian Partner Universities to effectively lead in facing the challenging
water resource problems that are impacting Jordan and the neighboring
area. This will be achieved by development of a M.Sc. Program in Water
Management and Desalination Engineering at BAU, Development of
competences at MU for offering of Continuing Education courses in Water
Resources and Desalination Engineering and Improvement/modernization
of curricular offer at HU.

Title
Strengthening Institutional Capacity in Arab countries "ALTAIR"
Description
This project aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of 10 Arab
universities in five partner countries, through the development and
embedding of a culture for quality assurance. Related activities include a
series of pilot quality assurance assessments of chosen university
services, the development of a long-term strategic plan for the
development of quality assurance and the publication of a guide to the
promotion of institutional quality assurance.

Nouveaux cursus en Management des activités de Services et de la
Technologie, Amélioration des processus qualité des enseignements et
développement des services aux étudiants
Description
This project wants to modernize curricula by introducing techological
management and management of services activites among PC
universities. This modernization will introduce new courses and will induce
creation of new degrees at master’s level. This will also induce courses for
vocational from companies and from public administration. Such objective
should favour modernization of curricula and teachnig methods from PC
members.This project will also increase capacities of partners to offer new
services to students, to implement a quality insurance process for
teaching activities and internal services from PC universities. This project
will also increase PC member’s openness towards companies and should
increase governance methodology from PC HEI.

Ce projet a pour finalité la modernisation des programmes
d'enseignement supérieur et méthodes pédagogiques dans les institutions
méditerranéennes partenaires, le développement des processus de
qualité en leur sein et des capacités de services aux étudiants et
d'ouverture vers la société. Cette modernisation donnera lieu, suivant les
besoins de chaque institution partenaire, à l'introduction de nouveaux
modules et/ou à la création de nouveaux cursus complets, au
perfectionnement des enseignants aux méthodes pédagogiques
nouvelles et à la création d'une plateforme de partage des ressources
pédagogiques et de formation en ligne.
