Lotus comfort è una collezione completa di
poltrone composta da bassa e media, con o
senza braccioli, con quattro o cinque razze,
con o senza ruote e con un movimento a
dondolo ad altezze variabili. Inoltre presenta
anche una nuova base a slitta. Lotus Comfort
ha un posizionamento di prezzo inferiore
rispetto a Lotus ed ha una manifattura ricercata
volta a garantire maggiore comfort alla seduta,
impreziosita dalla cucitura selleria e dalla
doppia scocca sul retro. Lotus comfort si
inserisce facilmente in una varietà di situazioni
di lavoro e può essere personalizzata con
diversi rivestimenti, varianti di colore per la
base girevole e i braccioli: alluminio cromato
opaco e marrone scuro, fango e bianco.
Dimensioni: cm 70x60xH74. Lotus Comfort è
un primo step di ampliamento della gamma
LOTUS, longseller di Cappellini, che vedrà
al prossimo Salone del Mobile anche una
versione “LOTUS DELUXE”.

and medium armchairs with or without armrests,
with four or five legs, with or without wheels
and a rocking movement at variable heights.
A new sledge base has also been Introduced.
Lotus Comfort has a lower price positioning
than Lotus and its workmanship has sought to
ensure greater comfort of the seat which has
been embellished by the saddlery stitching
and the back’s double shell. Lotus Comfort
easily adapts to a variety of work environments
and can be customised with different and
colour variants for the swiveling base and the
armrests: chromed aluminium or dark brown,
mud and white matt paint. Lotus Comfort is the
first step in extending Cappellini’s longselling
LOTUS range, in which a “LOTUS DELUXE”
version will be presented at the next Salone
del Mobile.
Lotus est une collection complète de d’assises
composée de fauteuils avec dossier de
différentes hauteurs, avec ou sans accoudoirs,
quatre ou cinq pieds, avec des roulettes
ou piètement luge et un mouvement de
balancier à hauteur variable. Lotus Comfort
a un positionnement de prix inférieur à
Lotus et sa production vise à un plus grand
confort de l’assise qui est embellie par une
surpiqure et la double coque sur l’arrière.
Lotus s’intègre facilement dans un salon ou
dans diverses situations de travail grâce aux
nombreuses personnalisations disponibles :
revêtement, dimensions, couleurs de la base
et des accoudoirs (aluminium, brun foncé,
beige et blanc). Le fauteuil Lotus Comfort est
une première étape dans l’extension de la
collection LOTUS, long seller de Cappellini
qui présentera au Salon de Milan une version
“LOTUS DELUXE”.

Nato a Londra nel 1959, si laurea al
Royal College of Art e apre il suo primo
studio nel 1986. Subito dopo inizia la
lunga e interessante collaborazione
che lo lega a Cappellini. Ogni suo
progetto ha un’eleganza minimalista
che lo rende estremamente moderno
pur essendo una sorta di archetipo
essenziale
legato
al
passato,
anteponendo sempre la funzione all’
espressione.
Born in London in 1959, he graduated
at the Royal College of Art and
established his first design office in
1986. Immediately after this, he began
his lasting and useful cooperation with
Cappellini. Each Morrison’s project
has a minimal elegance which makes
it strongly modern being a sort of
archetype linked to past, favouring
function on expression.
Né à Londres en 1959, il obtient sa
maîtrise au Royal College of Art, et
ouvre son premier studio de créations
en 1986. C’est tout de suite après
que débute la collaboration durable
et intéressante qui le lie à Cappellini.
Tous ses projets ont une élégance
minimaliste qui les rend extrêmement
modernes tout en étant une sorte
d’archétype essentiel lié au passé,
qui donne toujours la primauté à
l’expression plus qu’à la fonction.
