Etienne Moyat explore le bois à travers toutes ses textures, formes et expressions, de la petite sculpture au monumental ainsi que les pièces de mobilier personnalisées.
Le bois est sculpté, brûlé, poli... Toutes les créations sont uniques et sont fabriquées à la main.
Etienne a apprivoisé le feu, et travaille sur les formes et les textures du bois. L’art brut et primitif, les cultures nomades, l’archéologie, la nature, l’énergie et la fluidité des formes,
sont les sources d’inspiration pour ses créations et dessins. Etienne a gagné le concours « Jeunes Créateurs 2005 », créé par Ateliers d’Art de France.
Etienne Moyat explores the wood through all its textures, shapes, and expressions, creating small sculptures, monumental wall paneling, and custom furniture pieces.
The wood is carved, burnt, and polished... All creations are unique and made by hand. Etienne has tamed the language of the fire, and has worked on the shapes and textures of
the wood. Gross and primitive art, nomad cultures, archeology, nature, energy and fluidity of shapes, inspire his creations and designs. Etienne wan the “ Young Designers Award
2005 ”, created by Ateliers d’Art de France (French craft professionals federation).

Nous proposons d’étudier vos dessins, plans, élévations, et de trouver à toute contrainte technique la solution optimale pour faire de vos projets un succés mutuel. Etienne Moyat
travaille sur des esquisses sur la base de vos inspirations et exigences thématiques pour livrer une oeuvre sur mesure à l’identité unique. Des rendus 3D et des échantillons de
teintes peuvent être soumis (à chiffrer selon les projets). Depuis dix ans, nous sommes fiers de répondre avec une grande réactivité à chacun des chantiers qui nous sont confiés,
grâce notamment à un réseau de partenaires et artisans locaux. Etienne se consacre à la création et aux aspects techniques de chaque commande, alors que Marie assure le contact
avec l’atelier, traduisant en permanence vos requêtes auprès d’Etienne et s’assurant qu’elles sont bien mises en oeuvre selon vos instructions. Ces dernières années, Etienne a
équipé son atelier afin de répondre à des projets de plus en plus exigeants. Nous nous tenons disponibles en permanence jusqu’à la livraison et l’installation de vos commandes.
Les panneaux sont systématiquement livrés avec les pièces et accessoires nécessaires au montage ainsi que des instructions d’installation. Les délais de fabrication standards
sont de trois mois mais doivent être confirmés pour chaque commande. Toutes les créations expédiées depuis l’atelier sont soigneusement emballées dans une caisse bois
renforcée. Vous êtes les bienvenus à l’atelier pour partager notre passion...
Etienne Moyat and his team are pleased to assist you through your projects and to oversee your individual orders and special requests, from design phase to delivery ensuring
you receive the very highest quality. We offer to study your designs, drawings, elevations of spaces and find the solution to any technical constraint to turn our collaboration
into mutual success. Etienne works on design intents according to your inspirations and requirements to deliver a bespoke artwork. 3D renderings and full set of samples can be
supplied with additional cost to be quoted according to each project. Since ten years, we pride ourselves being very reactive and finding solutions when required with our network
of local artisans and trusted partners. While Etienne Moyat advises on technical and artistic aspects, Marie will be your contact with the workshop, permanently translating your
needs to Etienne. For the past few years, Etienne has equipped his workshop in order to answer to the most demanding projects worldwide. We will remain available upon delivery
of your order and after to assist while installing master pieces. All necessary hardware and installation instructions are provided with each order to make it as easy as possible for
our customers but we are always at your disposal to assist further. Standard production lead time is 3 months but may vary and should be confirmed for each order. All orders are
carefully packed in custom reinforced wood crates.

Design
Pour vos projets, nous pouvons travailler ensemble à partir de plans et de photos de chantier. Puis d’aprés vos thématiques je suis en mesure de vous proposer différents designs
sous forme de croquis. Il est aussi possible de vous accompagner pour des mises en oeuvre spécifiques, telles que portes coulissantes, habillage de mobilier, impliquant découpes
particulières et surcotes liées aux contraintes du projet.

For your individual projects, we can work on the basis of your plans, drawings, or photos. With your suggestion of a topic or theme that inspires you, I can suggest several design
intents (sketches). We can also advise on the realisation of carved panels for specific uses such as door and furniture lining panels, implying specific cuts.

« Une fois que les dimensions, la finition et la conception sont approuvées par le client, je sélectionne la partie
la plus appropriée de l’arbre, puis dessine les lignes et formes. Je sculpte le bois avec une tronçonneuse.
Le bois est ensuite brûlé, brossé, et la finition est appliquée selon les spécifications du client.
Les commandes sont emballées très soigneusement dans des caisses en bois et livrées avec les instructions
d’installation et d’entretien.
Once dimensions, finish and design are approved by client,I select the most appropriate piece of tree, then draw
the lines of future shapes. I carve and sculpt the wood with a chainsaw.
The wood is then burnt, brushed, and the final finish is applied according to customer’s specifications.
Orders are packed very carefully in wood crates and shipped with installation and maintenance instructions »

PRODUCTS
Customers may ask for quotes on special items and projects. Pictures and finishes are
not contractual. Variations in color and veining are inherent in wood and are considered
to be a part of the natural beauty. All ETIENNE MOYAT pieces are handmade and are
therefore subject to slight variation.
Dimensions might vary slightly and in series, all pieces are not exactly identical as they
are handmade.
Each piece is unique and stamped.
PRICES
Our pricelist is with trade prices Exworks Saint Leonard de Noblat. Packing, freight, and
insurance charges are additional costs which must be added to the order. A 50% deposit
is required to initiate orders. Orders must be paid in full, including shipping, handling,
packing, storage, applicable taxes and service charges prior to shipment. ALL PRICES
ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITH 30 DAY NOTICE. ALL PAYMENTS ARE TO BE MADE IN EURO
CURRENCY.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment conditions are by SWIFT to our bank account:
For orders with total amount superior to 1000 Euros, a 50% deposit is requested when
placing the order and 50% remaining payment before dispatch.
For orders with total amount under 1000 Euros, a full payment is required when order is
placed.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All goods are made-to-order per customer specifications. Orders cannot be cancelled
after they have been confirmed by ETIENNE MOYAT. Changes in orders or returns require
prior written approval from ETIENNE MOYAT. Such changes will be quoted (additional
costs) by ETIENNE MOYAT. Custom orders are not cancellable once production has begun.
PROPERTY OF GOODS
The ownership of goods remains the seller’s until total payment of the amount of the
order has been made. The transfer of property implies transfer of risk.
METHOD OF SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY
Production lead time and delivery date are given as information and without guarantee.
No order cancellation will be accepted for delay in delivery, and no compensation,
penalty, nor damages will be granted. Goods will only be dispatched after full payment
has been made.
ETIENNE MOYAT will arrange product shipments on behalf of the client with charges of
freight charged extra to the customer, unless customer specifies alternative shipping
arrangements: customer may collect goods from our factory. The customer should check
goods upon delivery. Any claim by customer against ETIENNE MOYAT or freight carrier for
shortage or damage occurring prior to delivery must be made in writing within seven (7)
days after receipt of shipment and accompanied by original transportation bill signed
by the carrier noting that the carrier received the goods from ETIENNE MOYAT in the
conditions claimed. Returns require prior written authorization from our headquarters.
JURISDISCTION
Any controversy or claim, if not amicably settled between ETIENNE MOYAT and its
customer, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with International Chamber of
Commerce (ICC) Rules of Arbitration then in effect. Only in the event that the dispute
cannot be resolved by arbitration, will the affected parties go to the Court of law of
Limoges (Haute-Vienne, France) to resolve the same. According to law n°80335 dated
12th May 1980, the ownership of goods remains ETIENNE MOYAT until they are fully paid
by the customer.
