Pour l’apostille du gouvernement indien :
Les actes d’état civil indiens doivent être légalisés par le "District Commissioner"(ou
le "District Magistrate") de la ville de naissance/mariage/décès, puis par le "Home
Political Department (Home Ministry)" de l’Etat indien d’émission dudit acte, avant
d’être enfin revêtu de l’APOSTILLE (le gouvernement indien ayant ratifié la
Convention de La Haye du 5 octobre 1961).
Au Ministry of External Affairs (Patiala House, Tilak Marg, Attestation Cell, Gate N° 1,
New Delhi), les documents devant être apostillés peuvent être déposés de 9h30 à
12h00, le paiement se fait au moyen d’un « postal order » de 50 roupies.
Le Ministère des Affaires Extérieures a ouvert des bureaux à CHENNAI, GUWHATI,
HYDERABAD et KOLKATTA. Si vous souhaitez y obtenir l’apostille, vous voudrez
bien appeler le service à New Delhi pour les coordonnées.
For the APOSTILLE of the Indian Government :
The birth/marriage/death certificate issued by the municipality first needs to be
attested by the District Magistrate or district Commissioner of the city concerned,
then by the Home Department / General Administration Department of the
Government of the State concerned and finally with the apostille of the Government
of India (India having ratified the Convent of La Haye of 5th October 1961).
At the Ministry of External Affairs (Patiala House, Tilak Marg, Attestation Cell, Gate
N° 1, NEW DELHI), the document to be attested with the apostille may be submitted
between 9h30 and 12h00, with a Postal-Order of Rs. 50/- (fifty) only.
There are now Branch Secretariats of the same office in CHENNAI, GUWHATI,
HYDERABAD and KOLKATTA.
