In anticipation of the momentous COP-22 UN
Climate Change conference, which will take place
We are seeking poems
on the themes of:
in the city of Marrakesh this year, Human Dynamics
is incredibly pleased to announce our very first
Climate Change
Environmental Poetry Competition.
The Changing Environment
We are requesting submissions from poets
between the ages of 18 – 35, who are based
The Changing Landscape of the City
in Marrakesh or the surrounding areas, Agadir,
Oujda, or Benslimane and able to be present
Pollution
for the beginning of the COP-22 conference
Nature
on the 7th of November.
 Poems can be submitted in either Arabic, French, or English – and must be between 10 to 24 lines
 Entrants who submit their poems in Arabic and French, are requested (if possible) to provide
a translation in English
 The deadline for submissions is the 28th of October
 The winning entrant will be announced in the days following the deadline, and must be available
for the award presentation on the 7th of November 2016
 The winning poet will give a reading of their entry after the presentation of the award.
Readings will be in the original language, and in English (if possible)
