Le workpackage Formation du labex ASLAN offre aux doctorants et aux étudiants de master la possibilité
d’obtenir une bourse de mobilité internationale pour effectuer un séjour de recherche à Lyon dans un des
deux laboratoires du Labex (DDL ou ICAR).
The workpackage WP4 “Training” of the ASLAN labex offers doctoral and master’s students the possibility
of international mobility scholarship to carry out a research stay in Lyon in one of the two laboratories of
the Labex (DDL or ICAR).

Qui peut candidater ?
- tous doctorants ou étudiants de master provenant d’un pays d’Europe ou hors Europe
- tous doctorants ou étudiants de master souhaitant se former sur les thématiques de recherche
d’ASLAN développées au sein d’un des deux laboratoires (DDL ou ICAR)
Who can apply ?
- doctoral and master’s students from European country or from outside of Europe
- doctoral and master’s students wishing to obtain training in the research specialties of ASLAN,
as developed in either one of its two laboratories (DDL or ICAR).

Conditions pratiques et financières de la bourse :
- la bourse permet d’effectuer un séjour à Lyon d’une durée de 2 mois à 6 mois
- la bourse prend en charge un voyage aller/retour depuis le pays de rattachement
- la bourse comprend une indemnité mensuelle de 1000 euros
- l’étudiant qui bénéficie de cette bourse doit chercher et prendre en charge lui-même son logement
et ses frais de séjour (service d’aide www.espace-ulys.fr)
- l’étudiant devra produire un rapport d’activités (de deux pages) un mois avant la fin de son séjour
(ce rapport conditionne le versement de sa dernière indemnité de séjour)
Practical and financial conditions of the scholarship
-the scholarship covers expenses for stays in Lyon of a length from 2 to 6 months
-the scholarship covers the cost of one round trip from the country of inscription
-the scholarship includes a monthly indemnity of 1000 euros
-the recipient of the scholarship is in charge of finding his/her own lodging and of covering his/her
daily expenses (service to help in this www.espace-ulys.fr)
-the student will have to produce an activity report (two pages) one month before the end of the
stay (this reports is needed for the payment of the last indemnity of the stay)

Activités de recherche et formation que la bourse permet :
- le candidat sera intégré à l’un des deux laboratoires d’Aslan en fonction de son domaine de
recherche
- il sera accueilli et suivi par un tuteur dans le laboratoire
- il aura accès aux différents séminaires de recherche et évènements scientifiques d’Aslan et aura
la possibilité de faire une présentation de ses travaux de recherche
- il pourra bénéficier de l’accès aux ressources documentaires des différentes bibliothèques de
l’université de Lyon
- il pourra intégrer certains modules de formation de l’université de Lyon (en fonction des besoins
du candidat et des possibilités d’accueil)
Research and training activities allowed by the scholarship :
- the candidate will integrate one of the two ASLAN laboratories corresponding to his/her domain
of research
- he/she will be welcomed and supervised by a tutor in the laboratory
- he/she will have access to the various research seminars and scientific events of ASLAN and will
have the possibility of giving one presentation of his/her own research
- he/she will have access to the documentary resources of the different universities of the
University of Lyon
- he/she will be able to integrate certain training/teaching modules of the university of Lyon
(according to personal needs and availability of space)

Quand et comment candidater ?
Deux campagnes de recrutement par an :
- candidature avant le 1er juin de l’année en cours pour un séjour entre septembre et février
- candidature avant le 1er octobre pour un séjour entre janvier et juin de l’année qui suit
Durée et dates de séjour sont flexibles, à préciser dans la lettre de motivation
When and how to apply?
Two recruiting campaigns per year:
- application due before the 1st of June for a stay between September and February of the next
academic year.
- Application due before the 1st of October for a stay between January and June of the same
academic year.

- une lettre de motivation du candidat qui précise sa thématique de recherche et explique comment
ce séjour au sein du labex Aslan peut contribuer à sa formation en recherche
- une lettre de recommandation du directeur de thèse ou du responsable de master du candidat
- renseigner la fiche de renseignements et joindre les documents demandés

The application file is to be sent to [email protected] & [email protected] and consists of:

-a letter of motivation from the candidate that specifies the research topic and explains how a stay
in the labex ASLAN can contribute to his/her research training
-a letter of recommendation from the thesis director or the person responsible for the Master’s
program of the candidate
