STEP-BY-STEP FITTING GUIDE
NOTE
The original wiring harness is equipped with two connectors.
They are dedicated for Alarm System. The features of these two connectors are;
one-way connector and four ways connector with plastic cover.
Foto 1: Clean the siren unit and stick one double tape adhesive, cut the second double tape adhesive
in order to have a rectangular shape to stick on the lateral side of the unit.
Fit the main connector into the alarm control unit, insert the rubber hood its housing (1) and secure it
using a cable grip (2).
Specification of connectors; (3) LED connector, (4) connectors for indicator’s light, (5) connectors for
Alarm system.
Foto 2: Remove the main saddle (A) and the passenger seat (B).
Foto 3: Remove the side covers by pulling them out of the rubber bushings. Dismount the middle cover
by removing the 4 pins (C) and take it away. Now dismount the 4 screws (D) and disconnect the seat
lock cable (E). Take away the rear cowling.
Foto 4: Fix the alarm unit, with double tape adhesive, under the seat (F) as show on the picture. Lay the
alarm wiring loom in front direction and fix it on the frame with plastic cable (G).
Foto 5: Make the electrical connexion for alarm unit with the alarm connector predisposal(H), and connect
also the six ways connector for indicator light (I).
Foto 6: Fix the LED as show on the picture (L), and connect it to the alarm-wiring loom with two-way
connector (M).
Remount all before dismounted parts and make sure that all screws are tightened.
HOW TO ENABLE THE ALARM SYSTEM
Enabling the alarm system
The alarm must be initiated to make it operational. To do this, turn the ignition key OFF-ON-OFF.
The alarm system’s LED (Photographs 6) will now flash, indicating how many remote controls have been
paired up to the system by flashing the appropriate number of times (two are supplied as standard).
The system is now operational. Please refer to the user manual, supplied with the Alarm Kit item code
990D0 – Alarm – 000 for further details and specifications.

Rimuovere la chiave dal blocchetto accensione.
Proteggere ogni particolare rimosso dal veicolo.
Prestare attenzione a non danneggiare ogni parte del veicolo durante le operazioni di installazione.
ATTENZIONE
L’installazione del sistema d’allarme richiede un buon livello tecnico ed un’ottima conoscenza di come
operare sul veicolo. Per effettuare una corretta e sicura installazione rivolgersi ad un concessionario SUZUKI.
FASI DI INSTALLAZIONE
NOTA
L’impianto elettrico originale del veicolo è predisposto per il collegamento
del sistema d’allarme. I due connettori, si trovano nella parte posteriore,
nelle immediate vicinanze del teleruttore d’avviamento.
Foto 1: Pulire la bocca della sirena ed applicare uno dei due biadesivi, ritagliare dal secondo biadesivo
un rettangolo da applicare su un lato della centralina..
Collegare il connettore del cablaggio allarme alla centrale, calzare il cappuccio di gomma nell’apposita
sede (1) e fissarlo tramite fascetta plastica (2).
Definizione connettori; (3) LED, (4) Indicatori di direzione, (5) Predisposizione Allarme.
Foto 2: Rimuovere la sella principale (A), e la sella del passeggero (B).
Foto 3: Rimuovere lo schienale imbottito. Smontare la carenatura posteriore, rimuovendo le 4 clip (C),
svitare le 4 viti (D) e sganciare il filo metallico dalla serratura (E).
Foto 4: Rimuovere le pellicole dei due biadesivi ed incollare la centrale come raffigurato nell’immagine
(F). Indirizzare il cablaggio verso l’anteriore del veicolo e fissarlo con le fascette di plastica (G).
Foto 5: Collegare elettricamente i connettori del cablaggio allarme con i connettori della predisposizione
originale del veicolo (H), interporre i connettori sei vie del cablaggio allarme alla connessione elettrica
del fanale posteriore (I).
Foto 6: Posizionare il LED come rappresentato in figura (L). Portare il connettore due vie del Led nelle
immediate vicinanze del blocchetto serratura sella (M).
Rimontare le parti plastiche precedentemente rimosse per entrambi i lati della moto.
ABILITAZIONE DEL SISTEMA D’ALLARME
Abilitazione del sistema d’Allarme
Per rendere attivo il sistema d’Allarme è necessario portare la chiave d’accensione dalla posizione OFFON-OFF, a questo punto il Led del sistema d’Allarme (Foto 6) lampeggerà un numero di volte pari al numero
di trasmettitori memorizzati (da fabbrica due).
Il sistema ora è attivo, per le caratteristiche funzionali fare riferimento al manuale utente che trovate nel
Kit Allarme cod. 990D0 – ALARM – 000.

Vérifier la présence de toutes les pièces dans le Kit.
S’assurer de l’intégrité de chaque pièce.
Garer le véhicule de manière stable.
Retirer la clé du contacteur de démarrage.
Protéger chaque pièce après l’avoir déposée du véhicule.
Prêter attention à ne pas endommager une partie quelconque du véhicule pendant les opérations d’installation.
ATTENTION
L’installation du système d’alarme exige un bon niveau technique et une excellente connaissance
de comment on doit travailler sur le véhicule. Pour effectuer une installation sure et correcte,
veuillez vous adresser à un concessionnaire SUZUKI.
ÉTAPES DE L’INSTALLATION
REMARQUE
L’installation électrique d’origine du véhicule est prévue pour la connexion du système d’alarme.
Les deux connecteurs se trouvent dans la partie arrière, près du té'8elérupteur de démarrage.
Photo 1: Nettoyer la bouche de la sirène et appliquer un des deux rubans adhésifs, découper un rectangle
du deuxième ruban adhésif que vous collerez sur un côté de la centrale.
Relier le connecteur du câblage d’alarme à la centrale, mettre le capuchon en caoutchouc dans son siège
(1) et le fixer par un collier en plastique (2).
Définition des connecteurs ; (3) LED, (4) Indicateurs de direction, (5) Réservation pour Alarme.
Photo 2: Déposer la selle principale (A) et la selle du passager (B).
Photo 3: Enlever le dossier rembourré. Démonter le carénage arrière, après avoir enlevé les 4 clips (C),
dévisser les 4 vis (D) et décrocher le fil métallique de la serrure (E).
Photo 4: Enlever les pellicules des deux rubans adhésifs et coller la centrale come le montre l’image
(F). Diriger le câblage vers l’avant du véhicule et le fixer par les colliers en plastique (G).
Photo 5: Relier électriquement les connecteurs du câblage d’alarme avec les connecteurs de la réservation
originale du véhicule (H), interposer les connecteurs à six voies du câblage d’alarme pendant la connexion
électrique du feu arrière (I).
Photo 6: Mettre en place la LED comme l’indique la figure (L). Amener le connecteur à deux voies de la
LED à côté du bloc serrure de la selle (M).
Remonter les parties en plastique préalablement déposées des deux côtés de la moto.
VALIDATION DU SYSTÈME D’ALARME
Validation du système d’alarme
Pour activer le système d’alarme il est nécessaire de tourner la clé de contact sur les positions OFF-ONOFF ; la Led du système d’alarme (Photo 6) clignotera un nombre de fois égal à celui des radiocommandes
mémorisées (deux d’origine).
Le système est maintenant activé. Pour ses fonctionnalités, veuillez consulter le manuel de l’utilisateur
que vous trouverez dans le Kit Alarme code 990D0 – ALARM – 000.

Controlar la presencia de todas las piezas dentro del Kit.

Estacionar el vehículo en modo estable.
Quitar la llave del tablero de encendido.
Proteger todas las piezas que se quitan del vehículo.
Prestar atención de no dañar ninguna pieza del vehículo durante las operaciones de instalación.
ATENCIÓN
La instalación del sistema de alarma requiere un buen nivel técnico y un conocimiento cabal de cómo
operar con el vehículo. Para efectuar una instalación correcta y segura consulte un concesionario SUZUKI.
FASES DE INSTALACIÓN
NOTAS
La instalación eléctrica original del vehículo está preparada para la conexión del sistema de alarma.
Los dos conectores se hallan en la parte trasera, cerca del telerruptor de arranque.
Foto 1: Limpiar la boca de la sirena y aplicar uno de los dos biadhesivos, recortar del segundo biadhesivo
un rectángulo para aplicarlo en un lado de la unidad central.
Conectar el conector del cableado alarma con la central, calzar el capuchón de goma en el respectivo
alojamiento (1) y fijarlo con abrazadera de plástico (2).
Definición conectores; (3) LED,(4) Intermitentes, (5) Predisposiciones Alarma.
Foto 2: Quitar el asiento principal (A) y el asiento del pasajero (B).
Foto 3: Quitar el respaldo acolchado. Desmontar el revestimiento trasero, quitando los 4 clip (C),
desenroscar los 4 tornillos (D) y desenganchar el alambre de la cerradura (E).
Foto 4: Quitar las películas de los dos biadhesivos y encolar la unidad central como se muestra en la
imagen (F). Orientar el cableado hacia la parte delantera del vehículo y fijarlo con las bridas de plástico
(G).
Foto 5: Conectar eléctricamente los conectores del cableado alarma con los conectores de la predisposición
original del vehículo (H), intercalar los conectores de seis vías del cableado alarma en la conexión eléctrica
del faro trasero (I).
Foto 6: Colocar el LED como se muestra en la figura (L). Llevar el conector de dos vías del led cerca
del bloque cerradura asiento (M).
Volver a montar las piezas de plástico que habíamos desmontado de ambos lados de la moto.
HABILITACIÓN DEL SISTEMA DE ALARMA
Habilitación del sistema de Alarma
Para hacer operativo el sistema de Alarma es necesario mover la llave de encendido las posiciones OFFON-OFF, a continuación el Led del sistema de Alarma (Foto 6) parpadeará un número de veces equivalente
al número de transmisores memorizados (dos de fábrica).
El sistema ahora resulta activo, para las características funcionales consulte el manual del usuario que
encontrará en el Kit Alarma cód. 990D0 – ALARM – 000.

VORBEREITUNG DER INSTALLATION
1. Kontrollieren Sie, ob alle Teile des Montagesatzes vorhanden sind.
2. Kontrollieren Sie, ob alle Teile unversehrt sind.
3. Das Motorrad auf einer stabilen ebenen Fläche abstellen.
4. Den Zündschlüssel aus dem Zündschloss ziehen.
5. Alle aus dem Motorrad ausgebauten Teile so verwahren, dass sie nicht beschädigt oder zerkratzt werden
können.
6. Darauf achten, während der Installation keine Teile des Motorrads zu beschädigen. Kontrollieren Sie,
ob alle Teile des Montagesatzes vorhanden sind.
ACHTUNG
Die Vorraussetzung für die Montage ist natürlich eine gewisse technische Erfahrung. Wenn Sie
sich nicht sicher sind, wie man eine bestimmte Arbeit ausführt, sollten Sie diese Ihrem
SUZUKI-Händler überlassen.
MONTAGESCHRITTE
ANMERKUNG
Die elektrische Anlage des Motorrads ist für den Anschluss des Alarmsystems vorbereitet.
Die zwei Steckverbinder befinden sich im hinteren Teil in unmittelbarer Nähe des Starterrelais.
Foto 1: Die Schallöffnung der Sirene säubern und eines der zwei Doppelklebebandstücke anbringen. Aus
dem zweiten Doppelklebebandstück ein Rechteck ausschneiden, das auf einer Seite der Alarmeinheit
anzubringen ist.
Den Steckverbinder des Anbaukit-Kabelstrangs an die Alarmeinheit anschließen. Die Gummikappe in den
hierfür vorgesehenen Sitz (1) einsetzen und mit einem Kabelbinder (2) befestigen.
Funktionen der Steckverbinder: (3) LED, (4) Fahrtrichtungsanzeiger, (5) Anschluss für Alarmsystem.
Foto 2: Den Fahrersitz (A) und den Soziussitz (B) entfernen.
Foto 3: Beide Seitendeckel aus den Gummitüllen ziehen und abnehmen. Die 4 Clips (C) und die mittlere
Verkleidung entfernen. Die 4 Schrauben (D) demontieren und den Bowdenzug (E) vom Schloss lösen.
Die Heckverkleidung komplett abnehmen.
Foto 4: Die Schutzfolien von den beiden Doppelklebebandstücken lösen und die Alarmeinheit wie in
Abbildung (F) gezeigt ankleben.
Den Kabelstrang nach vorne führen und mit den Kabelbindern (G) befestigen.
Foto 5: Die Steckverbinder des Anbaukit-Kabelstrangs an die Steckverbinder des Original-Kabelstrangs
(H) des Motorrads anschließen. Die 6-poligen Steckverbinder des Anbaukit-Kabelstrangs an den elektrischen
Anschluss des Rücklichts (I) anschließen.
Foto 6: Die LED-Leuchte wie in Abbildung (L) gezeigt anbringen. Den zweipoligen Steckverbinder der
LED-Leuchte in unmittelbare Nähe des Sattelschlossblocks (M) bringen und anschliessen.
Die zuvor ausgebauten Fahrzeugteile wieder in umgekehrter Reihenfolge anbringen.
SCHARFSCHALTEN DES ALARMSYSTEMS
Scharfschalten des Alarmsystems
Zum Scharfschalten des Alarmsystems muss man den Zündschlüssel nacheinander in die Stellungen
OFF-ON-OFF drehen. Ab diesem Punkt blinkt die LED Leuchte des Alarmsystems (Foto 6) so oft, wie Sender
gespeichert sind (werkseitig sind zwei Sender gespeichert).
Das System ist nun scharfgeschaltet. Für die Funktionsweise siehe die Bedienungsanleitung im AlarmKit Bestell-Nr. 990D0 – ALARM – 000.
