It is with great pleasure that we invite you to attend to the 1st
European workshop on Taylor Dispersion Analysis (TDA 2014) to
be held on June 2nd, 2014 in Montpellier (France). This full-day
meeting will be entirely devoted to this promising size
characterization technique, which has encountered an increasing
interest in the last years.
Workshop scopes:
During that workshop, some of the European research teams
working on TDA will present their last research advances.
Fundamentals and theoreticals of the technique will be presented
and many applications of size measurements by TDA in different
fields (pharmaceuticals, proteins, polymers, nanomaterials,
colloids…) will illustrate the huge potential of TDA. This event will
be a great opportunity to discuss on that scientific topic and
stimulate the collaborations between European groups.
This workshop is open to all and free of charge. So, do not miss it!
You just have to register online, as soon as possible here, to be
sure to get a place since the number of participants is limited.
This workshop takes place in Montpellier, eighth-largest city in
France, located on the Mediterranean coast, the right place to
experience French Mediterranean lifestyle and culture in its
elegant old town.

Dispersion Analysis
Workshop location:
The workshop will be held at the CNRS Languedoc
Roussillon delegation campus, 1919 route de Mende,
Montpellier, you can get there by taking the tramway
and the bus:
From the train station (or the city center):
Take the tramway line number 1 (the blue line with the
swallow) direction “Mosson” and get off at “Saint-Eloi”
station (map for Tram lines).
From there you have three options:
1- Take the bus number 22 direction “Clapiers/Jacou”
and get off at “CNRS” stop (frequency every 30 min).
2- Take the bus “La navette” direction “Agropolis via
Vert-Bois”, get off at “Vert-Bois” stop then continue by
foot on “route de Mende” for about 400 m (frequency
every 10 min).
3- You can enjoy Montpellier’s great Mediterranean
weather by walking (~22 min, 1.6 km) (see the map
below).
