2012 FASNY Gala local merchants campaign
The FASNY annual benefit Gala has a tradition of enormous success, which mirrors the
extraordinary academic achievements of the students. Each year has surpassed the last
and this year’s challenge is to take us to new heights of excellence.
Last year's Gala raised $425 K. Our aim this year is to collect more than $500 K. The
funds raised by the Gala will go directly to FASNY's annual fund which will be used in
the operating budget of the school. As an example, these funds allow the school to have
cutting edge technology, and up-to-date lab equipment.
The members of our team are striving to achieve this goal. You can help us when you’re
shopping or simply talking to your personal suppliers by:
1. Becoming a referrer only:
Print the following form and keep a few copies in your handbag.
Talk of our UNIQUE NEW SECTION OF LOCAL BUSINESSES in our Gala journal
and on the school website, using your own power of recommendation as a customer.
Have them fill out the detachable coupon and bring it back to the office of one of the
FASNY campuses (to be put in the Gala envelopes) , or send it to Fenimore or email us
the information at [email protected]
2. Becoming part of the Gala team:
Email us if you wish to go further. Even if you can’t do more than 5 to 10 contacts, we’re
definitely interested!
Le Gala annuel de FASNY a une tradition de succès, à l’égal de la réussite scolaire des
élèves de notre école. Chaque année a surpassé la précédente et notre ambition, cette
année est de changer encore de vitesse.
Ainsi, le gala de 2011 a récolté 425 K$ et nous avons l’ambition cette année de dépasser
les 500 K$. Les fonds collectés par l’équipe gala iront directement dans le fond annuel de
Fasny ; cet argent est utilisé dans le budget opérationnel de l’école. À titre d’exemple, il
permet de financer des Equipements modernes tant pour les salles informatiques que les
laboratoires.
Les membres de l’équipe du gala se démènent pour réaliser leur ambition et vous pouvez
les y aider pendant que vous faîtes vos courses ou êtes en contacts avec vos prestataires

COMMERCES DE PROXIMITE dans le journal du gala et sur le site internet de l’école

Who are we?
FASNY is a non-profit, bi-lingual, independent school with more than 870 students
enrolled from nursery through 12th grade. The School sits on three Campuses located in
Scarsdale, Larchmont and Mamaroneck.
The school population is comprised of 60 nationalities with a large proportion of
expatriates working for international companies, residing throughout Westchester and
Fairfield Counties, with the majority living in Scarsdale, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, New
Rochelle, White Plains and Rye.
Why advertise to the FASNY community?
Its unique diverse community loves to shop and eat locally and trusts recommendations
Since many of these families arrived recently, they are not familiar with the local
businesses in the area
Some do not speak fluent English and the directory categories will be translated into
