A non-governmental organisation, created in the year 1979 to fight for the right to vote
for immigrants and equal rights for all.
Creating the Immigration Festival, co-organiser of the Ateliers des Cultures, ASTI is
looking for national and international partnership. Active on asylum seekers’ and so
called illegal peoples side as well as with kids, their parents and youngsters having
immigrated to Luxembourg, ASTI is proposing changes in the school domain, and
acting on anti-discrimination issues.
ASTI works for a new society, rich of its diversity.
Beside political lobbying and activities being financed exclusively by donations, many
activities being supported by different ministries are being undertaken together with
kids, teenagers, adults, creating new pedagogical material and running a
documentation centre on intercultural topics or a intercultural agency.
