Ce statut est indiqué par l’ajout du terme « Honoraire » à son titre. Le
Conseil d'Administration peut décider de remettre des badges indiquant le
statut « Honoraire» et/ou « actif ».

Members retiring from the Conseil Magistral or Conseil d’Administration
may take “Honoraire” status with the approval of the President.
Members retiring from the Bureau of a Bailliage, or a Bailliage Provincial,
or a Bailliage National may take “Honoraire” status with the approval of
the Bailli Délégué and the President.
On reaching retirement, with the approval of the Bailli Délégué, a
member holding a professional grade becomes “Honoraire”.
In all cases this status is signified by the addition of the word “Honoraire” to
the member’s title and the wearing of the “Honoraire” badge on the ribbon.
COMMANDEUR
Ces insignes seront remis à tous les membres qui auront le nombre requis d’années d’adhésion à la Chaîne
sans interruption depuis la date de leur intronisation.
These badges will be given upon request to all members after the relevant number of years uninterrupted
membership in the Chaîne since the date of induction.

ans après la date de leur intronisation et une

Commandeur = 20 ans / years
The “Commandeur” badge will be given upon
request to all members, after 20 years of
uninterrupted membership in the Chaîne since
the date of induction.

demande, à tous les membres de la Chaîne, trente
ans après la date de leur intronisation et une
présence sans interruption à la Chaîne.
Officier Commandeur = 30 ans / years
The “Officier Commandeur” badge will be given
upon request to all members, after 30 years of
uninterrupted membership in the Chaîne since the
date of induction.
Le badge “ Grand Commandeur ” sera remis, sur
demande, à tous les membres de la Chaîne,
quarante ans après la date de leur intronisation et
une présence sans interruption à la Chaîne.
Grand Commandeur = 40 ans / years
The “Grand Commandeur” badge will be given
upon request to all members, after 40 years of
uninterrupted membership in the Chaîne since the
date of induction.
MEDAILLES / MEDALS
Bronze
Il est conseillé au Bailli Délégué de remettre une
fois par an une médaille de bronze à un membre
du Bureau Régional en reconnaissance de son
excellente contribution. Cette récompense peut,
avec l’autorisation du Bailli Délégué (ou du Bailli
Provincial lorsqu’une structure provinciale existe)
être remise à un membre n’appartenant pas au
Bureau Régional mais dont les services rendus au
Bailliage méritent d’être reconnus.
Il est également conseillé au Bailli Délégué (ou
au Bailli Provincial lorsqu’une structure
provinciale existe) de remettre la médaille de
bronze aux Baillis Régionaux qui ont excellé dans
l’administration d’un Bailliage.
Bronze
For recognition of an excellent contribution in
the ranks of the Bureau, the Bailli may award one
Bronze Award annually and is encouraged to do
so. Such awards may, with the permission of the
Bailli Délégué (or Bailli Provincial where
applicable), even be awarded to a non-officer, a
member who through dedicated service to the
Bailliage deserves to be recognised.
It is also encouraged that the Bailli Délégué (or
Bailli Provincial where applicable), awards a
Bronze Medal to those Baillis who have excelled
in managing a Bailliage.

remise à un membre pour sa
contribution exceptionnelle à la

For an outstanding contribution to
the Chaîne a member may be given
a Silver Award. This Award may
only be given by the Bailli Délégué
however he may request that the

National make recommendations as
to who should receive such
recognition.
