Mitteilung des Vorstandes des Radclubs La Pédale Muhlenbach
bezüglich der MTB-Rennen vom 23. und 24. Juli 2016 in Baumbusch
Der Veloclub La Pédale Muhlenbach bedauert, das Mountainbike Festival 2016
wegen der kurzfristig geänderten Verkehrssituation im Baumbusch abzusagen.
Wir sehen uns nicht in der Lage, die Sicherheit der Fahrer und Besucher zu
gewährleisten.
Die Sperrung zweier Zufahrtswege schränkt den Zugang zum Veranstaltungsort,
die Parkmöglichkeiten und die Rettungswege tiefgreifend ein.
Seit Bekanntwerden der Verkehrseinschränkungen vor einer Woche ist es dem
Verein trotz größter Bemühungen leider nicht gelungen, eine zufriedenstellende Lösung für alle Beteiligten herbeizuführen.
Als Hauptveranstalter können wir die Verantwortung dieser Organisation aus
Sicherheitsgründen nicht übernehmen.

concernant les courses VTT du 23 et 24 juillet 2016 au Baumbusch
Le club cycliste La Pédale Muhlenbach regrette d’annuler en dernière minute le
Festival VTT 2016 à cause de la circulation modifiée au Baumbusch.
Nous ne sommes pas en mesure d’assurer la sécurité des coureurs et des
visiteurs.
Deux voies d’accès seront fermées à la circulation et limiteront par conséquent
l’accès au site, les possibilités de stationnement ainsi que les voies de secours.
Depuis l’annonce des travaux routiers la semaine dernière, et cela malgré tous les
efforts réalisés par le club, aucune solution viable pour tous les concernés n’a pu
être trouvée.
En tant qu’organisateur principal de cet événement, La Pédale Muhlenbach ne peut
pas assumer la responsabilité de cette organisation pour des raisons de sécurité.
Communiqué from the committee of the cycling club La Pédale Muhlenbach
concerning the MTB races of July 23th and 24th at Baumbusch
The cycling club La Pédale Muhlenbach regrets having to cancel, at short notice,
the MTB Festival 2016, due to modified and temporary traffic regulations in the
Baumbusch.
Given these new regulations, we are not able to ensure the security of the bikers
taking part in the races as well as of the spectators.
Two access roads will be closed to all traffic, thus limiting access to the racing site,
parking spaces and the use of an emergency lane.
The committee were informed about the roadworks last week and in spite of all the
efforts that have been put in, a viable solution could not be found.
It follows that as the main organiser of the MTB Festival 2016, La Pédale
Muhlenbach cannot take the responsibilty of organising this event for security
reasons.
