SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 AT 7PM COME HEAR FATHER
MICHAEL LAPSLEY, an Anglican priest active in the
anti-apartheid movement in South Africa, serving as
chaplain to the ANC, among other roles. He continues
to work towards reconciliation and peace in South
Africa as the director of the Institute for the Healing of
Memories and in developing models to assist faith
communities in the process of healing the psychological,
emotional and spiritual wounds of violence.
LE SAMEDI 1ER AOÛT À 19H00 VENEZ ÉCOUTER PÈRE
MICHAEL LAPSLEY. Prêtre anglican, il était fortement
impliqué dans le mouvement anti-apartheid en Afrique
du Sud; il était aumônier de l'ANC, entre autres.
Aujourd'hui il poursuit l’œuvre pour la réconciliation et
la paix en Afrique du Sud comme directeur de l’Institut
pour la guérison des mémoires et dans le développement de modèles pour aider les communautés de la foi
dans le processus de guérison des plaies psychologiques,
émotionnelles et spirituelles causées par la violence.
