have huge Spanish classes, a great resource can be found at
CARLEX called « Sólo Cinco Preguntas ». The 4 step format
is designed to engage an entire class in Spanish using
reading, writing, speaking and listening in Spanish. She
used the activities to prepare her Entry #3 video and portfolio
for National Certification. There are 3 levels: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced. ¡Pruébalos!
The updated Spanish Curriculum for BC has now been
posted, as well as the Integrated Resource Package for
Spanish 5-12.

Finally, the CASLT national office has had a few staff
changes once again. Our office administrator, Angélique
Tremblay, began her year long maternity leave as of the
beginning of March. At time of printing, Angélique has not
yet had her baby but we will share the news in the fall issue.
We welcome Francine Charbonneau to the position.
We did receive news from our former Quebec National
Council Representative, Valerie Kamel. She is pictured
here with her beautiful little boy named Christopher
Richard Soussa, born
October 18, 2004.
Wishing you all a restful
summer and we look forward
to providing new exciting
services to our members in
the fall.
