et gastronomiques c’est l’idée simple de ces weekends Quintessence.
Découverte insolite du domaine viticole Couly Dutheil à Chinon et notamment du Clos
de l'Echo - vignoble royal et propriété de Rabelais. Dégustation prestige avec
millésimes rares suivi d'un buffet vigneron 'les spécialités locales' autour des vins
Couly-Dutheil.
Quelques heures pour découvrir Chinon avant de vous rendre à
l'Hostellerie La Croix Blanche pour un dîner gastronomique accompagné de vins
uniques et de millésimes exceptionnels.
Le forfait comprend la journée découverte chez Couly Dutheil, déjeuner vigneron et vin
compris , le dîner Prestige avec apéritif et une sélection de vins Couly Dutheil en
compagnie d’un représentant du Domaine Couly Dutheil, l’hébergement à l’Hostellerie
La Croix Blanche.

Three exquisite wine weekends have been prepared for you! Key words are: ‘enjoy’
and ‘discover’ in an informal atmosphere. English explanations throughout the day and
dinner. Discover the Couly Dutheil winery in Chinon and their award winning white,
rosé, red and sparkling wines as well as their Clos de l'Echo – a royal vineyard and
former property of the famous French writer Rabelais.
Visit of the ‘clos’, a wine tasting in a splendid tasting room followed by a country lunch
(with wine of course!) are the key ingredients.
The second half of the afternoon can
be spent discovering Chinon and the castle, strolling along the Loire and Vienne rivers
or visiting Fontevraud abbey. In the evening, a gourmet dinner with Couly Dutheil
wines and exceptional vintages will be served at the Hostellerie La Croix Blanche in
Fontevraud.
