Good Afternoon: The MP Branch 75th Anniversary organizing

Good Afternoon:
The MP Branch 75th Anniversary organizing committee is collecting photos to be included in a coffee
table book. These pictures need to be scanned at the highest resolution possible and sent to Lindsay Frei
(the sooner the better) - the email below describes what is required. This book will only be a success if
you all join us in making it so. You have some wonderful pictures that we hope you will share with us
and we promise to develop a book that can be proudly displayed in your homes and ours. The entire
Anniversary event will include our retired family in all aspects and it promises to be an event that will
long be remembered. We are building a Facebook page, please go to the following link and "Like" us:

Facebook, we will have a webpage up and running soon and I will send that address to you all as well. In
the meantime, open the albums and shoeboxes and send us those photos that will bring back memories
and show our younger personnel where their heritage came from. Thanks to you all and have a great

Ladies and Gentlemen,
As part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the Canadian Military Police, we are creating a
coffee-table book of MP throughout history. As such, we are looking for the submission of any photos
you may have in your possession. If you are willing to submit your photos, they must be sent before 01
November 2013 to the following email address: [email protected]
Please make sure you include the following information:
Location of the photo
Date of the photo
Names of those in the photo
Identity of the photographer if known (i.e. DND photographers, etc.) Ensure that the photo is sent at the
best resolution
I will be spearheading the creation of this book, and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to
contact me directly at the above email address. I would also like to ask that this message be passed
along to any retired members that you may know, as we want to ensure that we capture images from as
many people as we can. We would like to have photos from training events, social events, courses,
deployments, embassy postings, dignitary events, etc.
(Please note that if your photo is chosen, you are agreeing to release the image for the purpose of this
coffee-table book. There will be no remuneration/compensation.)

ex., photographes du MDN, etc.) Veuillez vous assurer d’envoyer votre photo dans la meilleure
résolution possible.
Je me chargerai de la mise au point de ce livre. Si vous avez des questions, n’hésitez pas à communiquer
directement avec moi à l’adresse électronique ci dessus. Je vous demanderais également de transmettre
ce message aux militaires retraités que vous connaissez, car nous souhaitons recueillir le plus grand
nombre possible de photos prises lors d’activités d’instruction, d’activités sociales, de cours, de
déploiements, d’affectations dans des ambassades, d’événements avec participation de dignitaires, etc.
(Si votre photo est sélectionnée, vous devez consentir à ce qu’elle soit publiée dans le livre cadeau.
Aucune rémunération/indemnisation ne sera versée.)
