Due to the nature of the import/export market, keeping wines in stock is sometimes a challenge but we will try our best to carry a wine similar in quality and price should we be out of one or more of our selection. Thomas Jefferson once said that wine was a necessity of life to him. It is also true for us. So we choose our wines with the utmost care and concern in order to bring you the best possible wines for the value. It comes from a small 14 hectares vineyards (about 35 acres or so). The wine is soft and round with a medium to full body. Not a power driven wine as one might expect from the area but a great wine nonetheless. Domaine de Mourchon, Côtes-du-Rhône-Village Séguret "Grenache Family Reserve" 2007 ..........110 Walter Mc Kinley and his crew have yet again outdone themselves. Rest assured; this wine is super expensive considering the appellation. And then you try it... I have long said that walter's wine would become the Pétrus of Côtes-du-Rhône one day and I still firmly believe it. This particular cuvée could put a lot of Chateauneufdu-Papes selling at even higher prices to shame. This is a rare opportunity for us to carry this particular cuvée. It is very, very limited and unfortunately I only have six bottles.
