EXAMPLES
Je lui donnerais bien des leçons de français si j'avais le temps mais je n'ai pas le temps.
I would give him French lessons if I had the time but I do not have time.
Nous donnerions notre démission si nous avions assez d'argent.
We would give our notice if we had enough money.
Nous donnerions beaucoup pour savoir ce qu'elle est devenue.

EXPRESSIONS
Donner raison à quelqu'un: to agree with somebody/to prove somebody right.
Donner tort à quelqu'un: to disagree with somebody/to prove somebody wrong.
Donner un coup de main: to give a hand (colloquial).
