Das Sicherheitsgrasschneideblatt kann mit einer handelsüblichen Flachfeile (Doppelhieb) und der dafür vorgesehenen Feilvorrichtung instandgesetzt werden.
Vorgehensweise:
1. Schärfvorrichtung mit vorgesehener Halterung in den Schraubstock einspannen.
2. Kleinsten Zahn ermitteln und diesen markieren.
3. Sicherheitsgrasschneideblatt mit Zentrierring (Ø 20 mm oder 25,4 mm) auflegen und
mit der 10 mm Flügelmutter leicht befestigen, so dass die Mähscheibe noch per
Hand drehbar ist.
4. Sieht man die geschliffene Zahnbrust vom kleinsten Zahn an der rechten Zahnhälfte,
wird dieser über die rechten Rollen der Feilführung bearbeitet (siehe Bild Einstellung
Winkel).
Sieht man die geschliffene Zahnbrust vom kleinsten Zahn an der linken Zahnhälfte,
wird dieser über die linken Rollen der Feilführung bearbeitet (siehe Bild Einstellung
Winkel).
5. Höhe (siehe Bild Einstellung Höhe) einmal auf den kleinsten Zahn einstellen, damit
dieser optimal geschärft werden kann. Somit ist die passende Schleifhöhe für das
gesamte Sicherheitsgrasschneideblatt eingestellt.
6. Rändelmutter der Höheneinstellung abkontern.
7. 20 Schneiden in einer Richtung feilen. Achtung: nur jeden zweite Zahn und nur
das Zahndach! Dann das Sicherheitsgrasschneideblatt wenden und die anderen 20
Schneiden schärfen. Achtung: nur jeden zweite Zahn und nur das Zahndach!

The safety grass cutting blade can be maintained with a commercially available flat file
(double-cut) and the filing device provided.
La lame de coupe d'herbe de sécurité peut être réparée grâce à une taille plate habituelle (lime double) et le dispositif de taille prévu à cet effet.
Method:

1. Clamp the sharpening tool into the vise using the holder provided.

2. Determine and mark the smallest tooth.

3. Connect the safety grass cutting blade with the centering ring (Ø 20 mm or 25.4 mm)
and secure it loosely with the 10 mm wing nut so that the cutting disk can still be
turned by hand.

4. If you see the ground tooth face from the smallest tooth on the right half of the tooth,
this will be processed over the right rollers of the file guide (see figure: angle setting)

5. Adjust the height (see figure: height adjustment) to the smallest tooth so that it can
be optimally sharpened. The correct grinding height for the entire safety grass cutting
blade is thus set.
6. Lock the set height into place with the knurled nut.
7. File 20 cutters in one direction. Attention: only every second tooth and only the
tooth roof! Then, turn the safety grass cutting blade over and sharpen the other 20
cutters. Attention: only every second tooth and only the tooth roof!

5. Ajuster une fois la hauteur sur la plus petite denture (voir image : Réglage de la hauteur) pour qu'elle puisse être aiguisée de manière optimale. Ainsi, la hauteur d'affûtage est réglée pour toute la lame de coupe d'herbe de sécurité.
6. Serrer l'écrou moleté du réglage de la hauteur.
7. Limer 20 lames dans un sens. Attention : seulement une denture sur deux et
le sommet ! Tourner ensuite la lame de coupe d'herbe de sécurité et aiguiser les
20 autres. Attention : seulement une denture sur deux et le sommet !

Si on aperçoit la face de dent meulée de la plus petite denture sur la moitié
gauche de la denture, elle sera travaillée via les rouleaux gauches du guide-lime
(voir image : Ajustage de l'équerre).
