Description of a Corporate Initiation internship: Experience in a Bank Branch

Corporate Initiation internship carried out in Bank X at a retail branch.

Description of a volunteer experience: Membership in Brio
 Context of the experience
Participation in Brio, semesters 1 and 2.
 Fixed objectives
Set by the company and/or yourself:

The objective for mentors is to support a group of 4 high school students, from 1 year through baccalauréat level, into higher
education and help them choose the right direction for their higher education.
Quantitative objective: 100% success rate of students receiving their baccalauréat (with distinction, if possible)
Qualitative objective: student satisfaction and a sense of socio-cultural openness through the Brio program
 Actions performed: regular assignments and/or miscellaneous projects
- Run workshops in cooperation with one other mentor (group of 4 high school students)
- Design a workshop program (debates, games, etc.)
- Support and prepare the students for company visits (Airbus Saint Nazaire, Beneteau, etc.) and cultural outings (theater,
museum, etc.)
- Accompany them to information sessions about various business specialties and meetings with prep courses for the Grandes
Ecoles
- Offer guidance and advice about career paths
- Assess the program, working with the students and the teacher who referred them
- Accompany the students on a 3-day trip to Dublin
I performed several additional tasks while participating in Brio:
- Carrying out recruitment interviews with high school students from the class of 2009
- Producing a film on the trip to Ireland
- Communications responsibilities: speaking at an evaluation meeting at the education offices, speaking on the radio,
interviewing high school students at a round table during the end-of-program ceremony, promoting the Brio project

All of the high school students I worked with received their baccalauréat, 2 of them began prep courses, 1 entered law school and
1 entered a University Institute for Technology. All have been involved in these studies since 2008, are happy with their choices
and are convinced of the benefits offered by Brio.
