2017 QUILT CHALLENGE THEME:
Au fils du temps – As time goes by
June 10 – 25, 2017

Here is your opportunity to participate in this International Quilt
Challenge by putting together or assembling a quilt or wall hanging.
There are no restrictions on style or technique (classic, modern, fiber
arts, etc…) and complete freedom in your choice of fabric types as well
as other materials. However, there are a few rules to follow:
RULES
 Finished size must measure 1 meter ² (length x width)
 The mixing of different textures and elements has grown popular








and we ask that you insure that a minimum of 50% of your work
be done with fabric.
Your quilt may have been exposed in another quilt show prior to
this challenge except any of the previous Aniane quilt shows.
Final selection will be made by a jury based on digital photos
sent by email or traditional style photographs sent in the regular
mail. Good quality is very important!
All entries are subject to copyright laws. Participants are
required to obtain copyright releases when appropriate.
The challenge organisers reserve the right to refuse to expose a
quilt – even if it was selected based on a photo.
Picture-taking is allowed during the quilt show and the
organisers and the media have the right to reproduce any of the
entries without any time limit or payment.
Each quilt entry must have an 8cm(3.5”) sleeve on the back in 3
parts and an identification label on the back as well with your
name, address and title.
You are allowed to enter up to 3 different quilts.
The entry fee is 12€ for 1 quilt and 10€ for each additional quilt.
Checks will be returned for those quilts not selected.

 International participants can pay using an electronic bank
transfer that will cover the cost of entry and return postage.
Shipping and handling of quilts will be at your expense. **If you
live outside France, contact us by email for help with the
payment and the return postage.
 Your signature on the application form indicates your
agreement to respect the rules and the decisions of the jury.

All entries (photos) must be submitted before May 1,
2017
Remember: good quality photos are extremely important for
the jury selection!!!

orientation of the quilt.
One self-addressed, stamped envelope.
