1 ¾ yd black fabric for background and backing
( or 1 yd of two fabrics)
¼ yd white fabric for web applique
Assorted scraps for spider and words
Fusible web
30 ½ x 30 ½ batting
2 small black buttons for eyes
¼” foot and zig zag foot
Thread for piecing and top stitching
Rotary cutter
Rulers
Pen/pencil
Card board or template plastic (STRONGLY recommended)
1 sheet notebook or freezer paper
Fabric marking pen or chalk
Scissors for cutting through multiple layers of fabric
General sewing notions: pins, seam ripper, thread snips, etc.
Sewing machine with foot pedal and power cord
Needle for hand sewing buttons in place
Make it extra spooky with glow in the dark thread!
