Anne Hornung-Soukup
Partner at Bruellan S.A. – Wealth Management
“Ancienne Présidente de CWF Anne Hornung-Soukup, est une personne très dynamique et toujours
ouverte à la rencontre des femmes pour découvrir leurs talents et les encourager à avancer dans
leur carrière. Battante pour la cause et bienveillante, c’est elle qui m’a découvert et incitée à postuler et devenir membre du conseil d’administration et incarne par ces actions l’esprit de CWF.” Ruth
Falise-Grauer introduisant Anne Hornung-Soukup.
I was born and raised near Chicago (practical down-to-earth Mid-Westerner) and
my life was changed forever at the age of 17 by a student exchange year in South Africa (fascinating, eye opening).
I attended Smith College (known for educating strong women) and spent a year in Geneva on their Junior Year Abroad
Program (saw Europe, met Swiss student, fell in love).
After earning an M.A. in international business in Washington DC (great international city #1), I moved to Geneva (great
international city #2) to be with my then-boyfriend now husband (have two grown children, two passports).
Loving math and people (not necessarily in that order), I worked first as economic consultant, then for a private-style
bank for 16 years. In 1999, I co-founded my own wealth management firm with two partners, running the business for
11 years. Since 2010 I am partner at Bruellan S.A. – a large Swiss wealth management firm. From 1990 to 1992 I assumed the position of President of the CWF (i.e. I know how much work it is), and I love current affairs, music, genealogy, travel and much more.
