2 petits textes rédigés en anglais par les 5è2, lors d’une séquence sur l’école, pour présenter
le collège aux familles quand nous irons en Angleterre…
MY SCHOOL.
My school is a mixed 10-15 school. There are about 520 pupils.
We don’t wear a uniform. We don’t have an assembly.
We don’t go to school on Wednesday afternoon. We have about 25 hours a week.
We have got a big playground with 6 ping pong tables, benches and tables.
The first break is at 10:20 am and the second break at 2:50 pm.
We start learning English in primary school.
We can choose Latin and German in 2nd form and Spanish in 3rd form.
In 1st form, we don’t study Physics and Chemistry.
Every year, the school organizes a cross country run in October and a lot of trips (to England,
Germany, Spain). In January we go skiing.

MY SCHOOL DAY.
I leave home at 8:15and I walk 3minutes to go to school. When I arrive at school, I chat with
my friends.
At about 8:20, we start the first period. Every day, I have a different lesson for the first
period. Each period lasts an hour. All my lessons are in different rooms and places around
the school. Each room has a number. I have a different teacher for each lesson.
I have a locker where I can store some of my stuff.
I study Math, Sciences, ICT, Music, Art, PE, Humanities, French.
We have 3 or 4 periods in the morning and 3 or 4 in the afternoon. We leave school at 5 pm
but sometimes earlier. At break, I can play table tennis or basketball when it snows, it’s
forbidden but it’s fun!
We have lunch in the canteen at 11:30 or 12:30.
I play basketball on Tuesday and Thursday.
