Révision annuelle du Guide de l’estimateur
Comme chaque année, le comité technique en estimation automobile a procédé à la mise à jour des normes et procédures en matière d’estimation automobile publiées au Guide de l’estimateur. En majorité, les
modifications sont d’ordre pécuniaire et sont décrites ci-après. Toutefois, d’autres modifications ont été apportées au texte et nous vous référons au Guide pour plus de détails, selon les pages indiquées.
Nous vous rappelons qu’une version électronique du Guide de l'estimateur vous est offerte, en français et
en anglais, notamment sur le site Internet de l'Estimation automobile au https://est.gaa.qc.ca.
Les pages ayant fait l'objet d'une révision seront transmises à tous les estimateurs qualifiés par le GAA,
ainsi qu'aux personnes désignées comme récipiendaires du Guide de l’estimateur chez les assureurs.
AVIS IMPORTANT : la date d’entrée en vigueur de ces modifications est le 6 juillet 2009.
La mise à jour de la TABLE DES ALLOCATIONS RELATIVES À
LA PEINTURE sera publiée d’ici la fin de l’année 2009, incluant les allocations pour la peinture à base d’eau.

Annual Review of the Appraiser’s Guide
As it does every year, the Automobile Appraisal Technical Committee has updated the automobile appraisal
standards and procedures contained in the Appraiser's Guide. Most of the changes concern monetary
allowances, which are indicated hereafter. However, other amendments were made to the text and we
would suggest that you refer directly to the Guide for further details.
We would remind you that the electronic version of the Appraiser's Guide is available in both French and
English and can be consulted at the Automobile Appraisal Web site at https://est.gaa.qc.ca.
A copy of the revised pages will be sent to all GAA-Qualified Appraisers and to insurers' representatives
designated as the Appraiser’s Guide recipients.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: These modifications will come into force on July 6, 2009.
The update of the PAINT MATERIAL ALLOWANCE TABLE will
be published before the end of 2009, including the waterbased paint allowances.
