Journey of the Magi, a collecton of frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli (1420-1497) on the frst foor of the Medici-Riccardi palace in Florence.

NUIT EUROPÉENNE DES MUSÉES
Saturday 21st May – Free of charge
Every year the European Museums Night is the occasion to
take part in brand-new and spectacular events : theatre
visits, lightng shows, treasure hunts, creatve workshops,
demonstratons of skills, tastngs, etc. Not forgetng events
specially aimed at a young public. The pedagogical project
“La classe, l’oeuvre!” invites schools and museums to work
around a specifc work of art. Children will study it in class
and then make it their own by producing a writen,
plastc, theatrical or audiovisual work. This year all
European museums can share their Night on Twiter #NDM16. A tweet-wall showing the photographs and
tweets sent by visitors will be created specifcally for the
occasion and shown in those museums which are
interested.

CORREZE ARTISANS – L'ATELIER DU PÉNITENT BLANC – 19390 CORRÈZE
Sabine Dorémus-Lossdregt is a ceramic artst who studied at the Académie
des Beaux Arts & Arts Décoratfs in Tournai (Belgium) and setled in Corrèze
over ten years ago. She regularly receives awards: in 2013, the First Prize of
the Jury at the 8th Internatonal Ceramic Biennial of Steenwerck i(Nord); in
2014, the First Prize at the 24th Poters Market in Ravel (Puy-de-Dôme)… In
her studio/mini-gallery she creates sculptures, decoratve objects and
crockery as well as special commissions. She works with rough sandstone and
ceramic, enamel in satn or mat fnishes and her designs convey feelings of
strength and movement. She also holds workshops at the Cour des Arts in
Tulle on Tuesday afernoons.

A quick recipe : Tarte à l'ancienne
Ingredients (serve 6) : 1 puf pastry, 20g raisins, 2 tablespoons of rum, 100g of crème fraîche, 1 egg, 15g brown sugar 2 apples.
Preparaton : pre-heat the oven (thermostat 5, 180C). Soak the raisins in the rum. Spread out the pastry on the baking sheet. Mix the
crème fraiche, the egg, the sugar and add the soaked raisins. Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes and add to the mix ; pour onto the
pastry and cook for half an hour.
