BALAD'OC, 1st OCCITAN FESTIVAL IN TULLE
From the 1st to the 4th of June, Tulle will become the capital of the Occitan cultures.

CONCERT : NADAU on Saturday 4th June at 9pm in the Salle de l’Auzelou, TULLE
With such an eclectc mix of bagpipes from the Landes, electric guitar, traditonal
songs and music - and the partcipaton of thousands of people singing together this two-hour bilingual show will alternate humour with tenderness and cheekiness
with poetry.

VISIT THE GARDENS OF ARSAC – 19200 SAINT FREJOUX
This structured pleasure garden founded by passionate gardeners 30 years ago won the
label “Jardin Remarquable”. It is divided into 13 separate areas, each with their own
character but conceived in soothing subtle shades of greys, greens and blues.. The
Japanese Garden is astonishing. There is something for everyone to enjoy, whether they
be children or adults, gardeners or simple people interested the pleasures of a gentle
and peaceful stroll… Visitors can enjoy restng on the benches or in designatedd sitng
areas or staying as bed and breakfast guests. Those in a wheelchair can also enjoy the
gardens with a litle assistance. Guide-sheets are also available and there are some
covered informaton areas. The gardeners/owners are around to answer questons during
weekends. Free of charge. Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th-- - 2pm, tour with the owners.

A Recipe : Celeriac and Potatoes gratn
Ingredients (serve six) : 1 handful of herbs (fresh thyme, rosemary, sage), 2 onions, 500g potatoes, 750g celeriac, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1
clove garlic, 400ml organic vegetable stock, 50g buter, stale breadcrumbs
Preparaton : Pre-heat the oven Th. 6 (200° C). Finely chop the herbs, then peel and thinly slice the onions, potatoes and celeriac.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the onions with most of the herbs untl sof. Cut the garlic in half and rub over a baking dish,
then layer the potatoes in a dish with the onions and celeriac and season well. Pour over the vegetable stock and top with knobs of
buter, then cover with tn foil and bake for 45 minutes. Mix the breadcrumbs with the rest of the herbs and a drizzle of oil. Afer 45
minutes, remove the foil, sprinkle over the breadcrumbs and bake for a further 15 to 20 minutes, or untl golden.
