Dr. Secchi maintains a private practice in Devon, PA. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and member of
the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. Dr Secchi received his DMD, Certificate of orthodontics, and a Master of Science
in Oral Biology from the University of Pennsylvania, same institution where he taught for over 10 years holding the position of
Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Director of the Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Secchi has published in various dental
and orthodontics peer review journals in the areas of treatment mechanics and the straight wire appliance. He wrote the
chapter ‘’Contemporary Mechanics Using the Straight Wire Appliance’’ for the last two editions of the Graber/Vanarsdall/Vog
orthodontic textbook. Dr. Secchi received the 2005 David C. Hamilton Orthodontic Research Award from the Pennsylvania
Association of Orthodontics of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Secchi is the founder of the ‘’Complete Clinical Orthodontics
System’’ (CCO Systemtm) and the Secchi Institutetm, which provides continuing education for orthodontists in the USA as well
as throughout the world. Dr. Secchi loves to spend time with his wife and 5 children. He is a passionate photographer and like
people, travelling and sports.

Nous avons tous eu l’occasion d’entendre des collègues déçus suite à un changement de type de boîtiers, n’ayant pas remarqué
d’avantages significatifs autres que briser le rythme de travail auquel ils étaient habitués. Cette conférence a comme objectif de
vous présenter le système CCO, et vous démontrer comment améliorer et simplifier nos mécaniques dans le cadre de notre

Dr. Tamburrino grew up in Pittsburgh, and his tinkering and technical interest during his early years led him to Duke
University where he received degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science. Wanting
to also be involved in healthcare, he enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Doctorate of Dental
Medicine and was Chief Resident while obtaining his specialty Certificate in Orthodontics. In addition to private practice,
Dr. Tamburrino is on the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Tamburrino also
lectures locally with various study groups, as well as internationally/nationally with the Complete Clinical Orthodontics
Course and Roth-Williams Center for Functional Occlusion. He strongly believes that it is important to teach and to help
raise the standard of care for our community as well as for the entire profession, and thoroughly enjoys any opportunity to
do so.
