Le certificat du Jaguar Heritage Trust de cette Type E spécifie qu'elle a été construite avec la conduite à gauche et
livrée neuve à Fredlunds Automobil à Stockholm, en Suède. La voiture était une « livraison à l'exportation à titre privé
» et à ce titre fut immatriculée au Royaume-Uni (sous le numéro HWK 415D), juste avant sa livraison le 18 juillet
1966.
Achetée en pièces détachées comme projet de restauration en 2001, cette Type E a été entièrement restaurée au
cours des 14 dernières années, un travail confié à une équipe de professionnels spécialisée dans le
reconditionnement de véhicules. On a demandé à cette société de remettre la Type E dans un parfait état d'origine,
sans aucun compromis dans la recherche de la perfection. La durée de l'entreprise en dit long sur le soin méticuleux
pris par ces véritables passionnés de grandes classiques. La carrosserie a été sablée et complètement rénovée,
puis elle a été repeinte en British Racing Green et regarnie en cuir fauve. Tous les organes essentiels ont été
reconditionnés aux normes d'origine ou mieux, tandis que des pièces, comme les garnitures intérieures, les
ancrages, les joints de culasse, les câblages, les paliers, etc ont été remplacés par des pièces neuves fournis par
des firmes spécialisées du Royaume-Uni ou d'Allemagne. Les ceintures de sécurité et les appuie-têtes ont été
ajoutés, ainsi qu'un échappement en acier inoxydable. Le moteur a subi une révision complète, incluant l'installation
de nouveaux paliers de vilebrequin. La restauration s'est achevée au printemps 2015, date depuis laquelle la voiture
n'a été conduite que pour vérifier le bon fonctionnement de tous les systèmes. Cette Type E magnifiquement
restaurée est vendue avec ses papiers d'immatriculation suédoise et son livret d'entretien d'origine. De plus, la
voiture restaurée a été inspectée par le Jaguar Club suédois et a obtenu la note maximale, et par le contrôle
technique automobile suédois officiel qui lui a attribué un brevet d'usage sans restriction.

This E-Type's accompanying Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate states that it was manufacture with left-hand drive and
delivered new to Fredlunds Automobil in Stockholm, Sweden. The car was a 'Personal Export Delivery' and thus was
registered in the UK (as 'HWK 415D') prior to dispatch on 18th July 1966.
Purchased as a completely disassembled restoration project in 2001, this E-Type has been fully restored over the
last 14 years; the work being carried out by a professional team specialising in vehicle reconditioning. The firm was
engaged to return the E-Type to perfect original condition and no compromise was accepted in the search for
excellence. The project's extended length is eloquent testimony to the meticulous care taken by these true classiccar enthusiasts. The body was sandblasted and completely refurbished. The car was then repainted and re-trimmed
in British Racing Green with tan leather interior. All key components were reconditioned to original or better standard,
while parts such as the interior upholstery, fittings, gaskets, cables, bearings, etc were replaced with new parts
supplied by specialist firms in the UK or Germany. Safety belts and headrests have been added together with a
stainless steel exhaust system. The engine underwent a complete overhaul including the installation of new
crankshaft bearings. The restoration was finished in the spring of 2015 since when the car has only been driven to
check the proper functioning of all systems. This beautifully restored E-Type is offered with Swedish registration
papers and the original operating, maintenance and service handbook. Furthermore, the renovated car has been
inspected by the Swedish Jaguar Club and got a 'top score' certificate, and also by the official Swedish automobile
control body, obtaining a user certificate without any adverse remarks.
