FRAIS DE GARDE CE DOCUMENT CONSTITUE UN GUIDE DES SERVICES OFFERTS ET RÈGLEMENTS DE NOTRE CPE NOUS ESPÉRONS QU’IL POURRA VOUS AIDER À COMPRENDRE LE FONCTIONNEMENT DE NOTRE CPE Les enfants âgés de 6 mois à 5 ans au 30 septembre payent er 7.00$ par jour. Les frais de garde sont payables le 1 ou le 20 de chaque mois. LA MISSION La mission du CPE est d’offrir un service de garde de qualité aux enfants et de proposer aux parents une approche pédagogique qui se vit quotidiennement tant qu’au CPE qu’à la maison. Les paiements en retard ne seront pas tolérés plus d’une semaine et seront rapportés à l’attention du Conseil d’administration. 7. REÇU D’IMPÔT Deux reçus pour fin d’impôt vous seront émis au plus tard le 28 février de l’année en cours. 8. ABSENCES MALADIES ET VACANCES 1. HEURES D’OUVERTURE Le CPE est ouvert officiellement du lundi au vendredi de 7h00 a.m. à 18h00 p.m. 2. ÂGE DES ENFANTS Le CPE reçoit les enfants de 6 mois à 5 ans Les parents doivent avertir la directrice ou l’adjointe de toute absence de l’enfant au C.P.E avant 9h30. Lors d’une absence pour la période de vacances (4 semaines consécutives. Maximum), les parents avisent la directrice ou l’adjointe une semaine à l’avance et précisent la date de retour prévue. Les journées d’absences et de vacances sont payables 3. RATIO ÉDUCATRICES/ ENFANTS 9. SÉCURITÉ Le CPE détient un permis de 80 places en installation et est subventionné par le Ministère de la Famille, des Aînés et de la Condition Féminine Le ratio éducatrices / enfants est de 1 / 5 de 6 à 17 mois, 1 / 8 de 18 à 36 mois, 1 / 10 de 4 ans et plus Lorsque les parents sont présents au C.P.E, ils sont responsables de la surveillance de leur (s) enfant (s). À l’arrivée et au départ ils doivent dévêtir et vêtir leur (s) enfant (s) et signés la feuille appropriée (feuille d’entrée et de sortie placée devant chaque local) 4. INSCRIPTION Pour inscrire un enfant au CPE, les parents doivent compléter le formulaire d’inscription, l’entente de service, le formulaire médical et la demande d’admissibilité à la contribution réduite, ainsi que tous les documents nécessaires s’y rattachant. 5. PRIORITÉS D’INSCRIPTION La priorité d’inscription est d’abord accordée aux frères et sœurs des enfants qui fréquentent déjà le CPE. Ensuite elle sera accordée aux enfants inscrits à temps plein au CPE (5 jours / semaine) selon la date d’inscription sur la liste d’attente. Enfin aux enfants qui requièrent un CPE à temps partiel régulier lorsqu’il est possible de jumeler leurs jours d’assiduité, de manière à combler une place à temps plein. Un enfant ne doit jamais être laissé à la porte d’entrée ou dans le sous sol du C.P.E. Le parent doit reconduire l’enfant dans son groupe. Les enfants ne quitteront le CPE qu’en compagnie de leurs parents à moins qu’ils aient averti les responsables du CPE qu’une autre personne viendra chercher l’enfant et qu’ils en aient donné une description physique précise et des pièces d’identification seront requises. 10. DÉPART Pour un départ définitif, le CPE Souhaite un avis de deux semaines à l’avance. 11. MALADIE ET MÉDICAMENTS Lorsqu’un enfant est malade ou présente certains symptômes tels que fièvre, diarrhée, vomissement, etc. les parents sont priés de garder l’enfant à la maison et de le ramener au C.P.E avec un certificat médical. Pour toute maladie contagieuse voir le médecin de l’enfant. 18. HORAIRE Les médicaments seront donnés avec l’autorisation écrite des parents et du médecin. 7H-9h30 accueil des enfants Le contenant doit indiquer le nom de l’enfant, le nom de son médecin, la posologie et la durée du traitement. 7H ouverture du CPE 9H30-10H préparation pour la collation du matin (lavage des mains, distribution de la collation) 12. LINGERIE 10H-11H15 activités selon l’horaire des activités de l’année (Gymnase, bibliothèque, activité extérieure, arts plastiques, film éveil à la lecture, éveil musical, éveil à la science, etc.) Tous les vêtements, souliers, bottes draps et couvertures doivent être marqués au nom de l’enfant. 11H15-11H30 préparation pour le dîner (lavage des mains, distribution du dîner.) Le nettoyage des vêtements doit être fait par les parents à chaque semaine. 11H30-12H Dîner 13. COUCHES POUR LES BÉBÉS ET ENFANTS DE 18-35 MOIS 12H-12H30 préparation pour la sieste (lavage des mains, brossage des dents, rangement des matelas pour la sieste, histoire racontée etc.) Elles sont fournies par les parents 12H30-14H30 sieste 14. DÎNER ET COLLATIONS POUR ENFANTS 6 MOIS À 5 ANS ET PLUS Le CPE fournit le repas du dîner et les deux collations, conformes au Guide Alimentaire Canadien. Il est interdit d’apporter au C.P.E : gomme, liqueurs, friandises ou aliments contenant des arachides ou des noix. 14H30-15H30 Réveil et préparation pour la collation(rangement des matelas après la sieste, lavage des mains) 15H30-17H activités (sortie à l’extérieur, jeux de groupe, etc.) 17H-17H30 Préparation pour le départ 15. OBJETS PERSONNELS 19. POLITIQUE ALIMENTAIRE Il est interdit d’apporter au C.P.E des jouets. Pour la sieste un toutou ou poupée de réconfort de grosseur raisonnable et bien identifié au nom de l’enfant est permis. Le C.P.E n’est pas responsable des objets perdus ou brisés. Afin de combler les besoins alimentaires des enfants, le CPE Genesis a suivi avec rigueur les recommandation alimentaires du Guide Canadien, tout en essayant de respecter les besoins des familles au niveau culturel et religieux. 16. INFORMATION Voici les aliments généralement servis quotidiennement : Les parents sont priés de lire régulièrement les avis écrits sur le tableau d’information, de consulter l’agenda de leur enfant, d’assister aux réunions parents / éducatrices Produits céréaliers : Pain brun, riz, céréales froides au chaudes, couscous - pâtes alimentaires - biscuits salés, bulgur. 17. CONTRAT DE SERVICE ET ATTESTATION D’EMPLOI La signature des contrats de service ainsi que les attestations d’emploi sont renouvelables à chaque année Légumes et fruits frais ou en conserves : bananes, oranges, pommes, poires, melon d’eau, cantaloup, nectarines, laitue, carottes, concombres, tomates,brocolis,choux-fleurs, épinards, pommes de terre, patates sucrées, etc. Le jus est servi occasionnellement Produits laitiers : Lait 2% Oméga, lait 3,25% homo, fromage, yogourt, margarine Viandes et substituts : Légumineuses, tofu, poisson, œufs, volailles et bœuf non kasher Boissons de soya : Fournies par les parents concernés Notez : Le CPE ne sert pas de porc à la demande d’une majorité de parents et tous les aliments qui contiennent des noix et arachides. Pour nos poupons l’adaptation des menus se fait très bien. Démarches concrètes d’expulsion 1. Rencontre formelle entre les parents et l’équipe du CPE. 2. Avis verbal aux parents. 3. Avis écrit aux parents. 21. INFORMATIONS DIVERSES Sorties : 20. POLITIQUE D’EXPULSION Causes d’expulsion d’un membre utilisateur du Centre de la petite enfance Genesis. Un membre utilisateur peut-être expulsé du CPE pour les motifs suivants : 1. Incapacité d’adaptation chez l’enfant ou tout autre comportement nuisible pour sa sécurité et celle des autres. (Ex. : Coups et morsures répétés, violences verbales, etc.). 2. Refus du parent de collaborer sur un plan d’intervention suggéré par l’équipe du service de garde, du CLSC, ou autres intervenantes impliquées dans le dossier de l’enfant. 3. Incapacité de l’équipe de travail du service de garde de répondre aux besoins de l’enfant et/ou l’encadrer ses comportements inadaptés, même après avoir suivi une formation en lien avec les problèmes de ce dernier. 4. Incapacité ou refus du parent à s’adapter à la politique interne, aux règlements généraux du CPE et aussi aux règlements sur les Centres de la petite enfance. 5. Refus du parent de faire soigner son enfant malade dont la maladie comporte un risque pour la santé et la sécurité des autres enfants et du personnel du service de garde. 6. Retards ou non paiements de ses frais de garde. 7. Retard fréquent matin et soir 8. Hygiène et propreté inadéquates persistantes même après discussions avec le parent. 9. Comportements, attitudes, violence verbale ou propos du parent à l’égard de l’équipe de travail qui sont nuisibles au bon fonctionnement du service de garde. 1. Nous souhaiterions avoir l’aide des parents disponibles pour les sorties éducatives impliquant l’utilisation du transport en commun ou en autobus. Une demande d’autorisation parentale est remise aux parents minimum trois (3) jours à l’avance. 2. Les sorties à l’extérieur sont prévues à tous les jours dans les règlements des Centres de la petite enfance. Les enfants doivent s’habiller en conséquence en tenant compte de la température : l’hiver (bottes, chapeau, foulard, mitaines ou gants, pantalon de neige), l’été (vêtements légers, chapeaux, etc.) 3. Le Conseil d’administration a résolu de ne pas sortir les enfants en dessous de -10 degrés l’hiver et au dessus de 25 degrés en été. FORMATION DU PERSONNEL La grande majorité du personnel éducateur du CPE Genesis est formée (10 sur 13) au sens de l’article 17 du Règlement sur les Centres de la petite enfance. C'est-à-dire qu’il détient, soit un diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) ou un certificat universitaire en éducation, ou une attestation en technique d’éducation en service de garde. MESURES PRISES EN CAS D’URGENCE En cas d’incendie ou toute autre urgence, les enfants du CPE Genesis sont évacués au Hôtel Le Méridien, situé au 1808, Rue Sherbrooke ouest, coin Saint Mathieu. Après l’évacuation, les parents sont avisés par téléphone. ENGLISH INTERNAL POLICY 6. DAYCARE FEES THIS DOCUMENT IS A GUIDE FOR THE SERVICES OFFERED AND THE RULES OF OUR CHILDCARE CENTER WE HOPE THAT THIS INFORMATION WILL GIVE YOU A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF HOW OUR CHILDCARE CENTER FUNCTIONS The children aged 6 month to 5 years by September 30, pay st th 7.00$ per day. The fee is payable the 1 or 20 of every month. Late payments will not be tolerated for more than one week and will be brought to the attention of the Board of directors. OUR MISSION 7. INCOME TAX RECEIPT The CPE mission is to offer a childcare center with quality services to the children and to suggest to the parents a daily pedagogical approach from the center to the home. Two receipts for the income tax will be given to you by the th 28 of February of the current year. 1. HOURS 8. ABSENCES ILLNESS AND VACATIONS The child care centre is open officially Monday to Friday from 7h00 am to 18h00 p.m Parents must notify the daycare director or assistant before 9:30 am if their child will be absent. 2. AGE OF CHILDREN The childcare centre accepts children from 6 months to 5 years of age 3. CHILDCARE WORKERS / CHILDREN RATIO The childcare centre has a permit for 80 children in installation and receives grants from the Ministère de la Famille, des ainés de la condition Féminine. The ratio of childcare workers to child is 1 to 5 children 6 to 17, 1 to 8 for children , 18 to 36 months, months, 1 to 10 children 4 years old and more 4. REGISTRATION To register a child at the childcare center, parents must complete the administration form, the medical form and the admissibility to the reduce contribution form and bring all the necessary documents. Parents must give the daycare director or assistant one week notice for vacation time (4 consecutive weeks maximum). We will also need to know when the child (ren) are expected to return to the center. All vacations and absences must be included in your fees. 9. SAFETY When parents are present at the daycare they are responsible for their child(ren)’s safety. When arriving or leaving , parents must undress and dress their child (ren), and sign in your child on present sheet located in every class. Parents must never leave their child at the entrance door or at the basement of the child care center. Parents must bring their child to their group. Children must leave the child care center only with their parents unless the parents notify the center that another person will pick up the child. They must give us precise physical description of that person. 5. REGISTRATION PRIORITES Priority will be awarded to the brothers and sisters that already frequent the center. Then to children registered for full time in the childcare center (5 days a week) according to the inscription date on the waiting list. The priority will then be given to children who need regular part-time daycare. However, this will be arranged only when it is possible for the different hours of 1 full time child, five days a week. 10. DEPARTURES For a final departure the CPE would like a 2 weeks notice. 11. SICKNESS AND MEDICATION When a child is sick or shows certain symptoms such as fever, diarrhoea, vomiting, etc parents must keep their child (ren) at home and bring them back to the center with a medical certificate. For any contagious disease, see the child’s doctor. Medicine will be given to the child only under parent’s and /or doctor’s written authorization. words (ex; very good, you can do it), add 5 cup of your patience. DIAPERS FOR THE BABIES AND CHILDREN FROM 18-35 MONTHS 9H30-10H Preparation for the morning snack (hands washing, distribution of snack) Diapers must be provided by the parents 10H-11H15 Activities according to the year schedule (Gym, library, outside activities, arts and crafts, movie, reading activity, music activity, science activity etc.) 14. LUNCH AND SNACKS FOR CHILDREN 6 MONTHS TO 5 YEARS AND MORE 11H15-11h30 preparation for lunch (hands washing, distribution of lunch) The daycare provides lunch and two snacks, in accordance with the Canadian Food Guide. It is forbidden for children to bring, gum, soft drinks, candy or food containing peanut or nuts to the child care center. 11H30-12H Lunch 15. PERSONAL BELONGINGS 12H30-2H30 Nap It is forbidden for children to bring toys to the child care center. For nap time a cuddly toy is permitted if it is of reasonable size and labelled with the child name. 2H30-3H30 Waking up and preparation for the snack (replacing the mattress after the nap, hands washing) 12H-12H30 preparation for nap (washing of the hands, tooth brushing, installing the mattress, story telling etc) 3H30-5H Activities (outside activities, group play, etc) The childcare center is not responsible for lost or broken belongings. 5H-5H30 Preparation for departure 16. INFORMATION 20. FOOD POLICY In order to be informed parents must regularly read the notices put on the bulletin board and consult their child agenda. Parents must be present to the parents / educators meetings. In order to meet the nutritional needs of the children the CPE strongly enforces the recommendations from the Canadian Food Guide, while also trying to respect the cultural and religious needs of all the families. 17. SERVICE CONTRACT AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE ATTESTATION The following is a general daily meal serving : The signature for service contract and employment assistance attestation are renewable each year. 18. RECIPE FOR YOUR CHILD GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT gradually mix 4 cups of your daily presence with 2 cups of respect in accordance with the child (don’t push) add 3 cups of self esteem ( encourage the child every day with positive Grain Products : brown bread, rice, cereals, (hot or cold), couscous, pasta, crackers, bulgur. Vegetables and fresh fruits or preserved : bananas, oranges, apples, pears, water-melon, cantaloupe, nectarine, lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli, caulis-flower, spinach, potatoes, sweet-potatoes, etc. Juice is served on occasion. Milk products : Omega 2% milk, homo 3.25%, cheese, yogurt, margarine. 3. Written notice to parents 22. DIVERSE INFORMATION Meats and substitutes : beans, tofu, fish, eggs, chicken and beef (non kosher) Soya Drinks : supplied at the request of the parents Grounded flax seed The CPE does not serve any foods containing pork or that may contain traces of peanuts and nuts at the request of the parents. Our children adapt very well to the menu. 21. TERMINATION POLICY Reason that a contract can be terminated in the CPE. A service contract can be terminated on the following grounds : 1. Inability adapting to or behavioural problems that may represent a risk to the child himself or to another, (e.g. scratches, continuous biting, verbal violence etc.) 2. Parent refusal to co-operate involving suggested intervention plans by the staff of the CPE. The CLSC, or other specialist implicated in the child’s case. 3. Inability of the staff members in the CPE to meet the needs of the child or in response to inappropriate behaviour even after having the staff member specially trained for that specific problem. 4. Inability or refusal of parent to comply with the internal policy or general rules of the CPE and also the regulations regarding all CPEs. 5. Refusal of the parent to take proper care of a child, suffering from an illness that may be a health security risk to other children and staff members of the CPE. 6. Late and no payment of daycare fees 7. Frequent late arrivals in the mornings and in evenings 8. Inadequate hygiene and cleanliness even after many discussions with the parent 9. Behaviours, attitudes, and verbal violence on the part of the parent towards the staff, that may interfere with proper functioning of the CPE. Final termination steps : 1. Formal meetings between parents and CPE Staff 2. Verbal notice to parents Outdoors : 1. We would like for the parents to assist when available to any of our educational outings involving the use of public transportation. Permission slips are usually issued 3 days in advance. 2. Regulations of the CPE requires that the children go outdoors regularly on a daily basis. The children must be dressed appropriately for the weather eg. Winter (boots, hat, scharf, mitten, Gloves and snow pants), Summer (light clothing, hats, etc) 3. The board of directors agrees that the children should not go outdoors in temperatures below -10 degrees in the winter and above 25 degrees in the summer. 23. STAFF TRAINING The majority of the staff members that work in the CPE are usually qualified to work in the CPE (10-13) in accordance with the CPE by-laws article 17. It is said that they must obtain a college degree (DEC) or a University certificate in Education, or an attestation in Early Childhood Education. 24. MEASURES TAKEN IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY In case of a fire or any other emergency the children evacuate the premises and go to 741 Des Seigneurs in Yolande Breton Community Center which is within proximity of the CPE.
