COMPETENCES RECHERCHEES Master 2 ou diplôme d’ingénieur dans le domaine des Sciences des procédés CADRE DE LE THESE Contrat CIFRE de 36 mois (oct 2015- sept 2018) : 28 000 euros/an CONTACTS Envoyer CV et lettre de motivation à Marion CREST ([email protected]) et Dominique PATUREAU ([email protected]) Date limite de candidature : 15 juin 2015 PhD title: Recovery of digestates produced by anaerobic digestion PARTNERS Company name: Suez Environnement (SE) http://www.suez-environnement.com/ Name of the host-laboratory academic partner: INRA Laboratory of Biotechnology for the Environment (LBE) INRA Narbonne France / http://www.montpellier.inra.fr/narbonne DESCRIPTION OF THE RESEARCH Suez Environnement research centre (CIRSEE) and Laboratory of Biotechnology for the Environment of the INRA (LBE) join forces to develop an innovative route of organic waste recovery by anaerobioc digestion in the environmental biorefinery concept. The objective of this thesis is to explore and recommend innovative ways of digestates recovery in synergy with an on-going thesis dedicated to the process of anaerobic digestion. Description of position: under the authority of a R&D project manager of Suez Environnement and researchers of LBE, the student will have for missions to: - Characterize a wide variety of organic waste and digestates in order to draw up a typology of digestates and their associated inputs. Several bio-physico-chemical methods of characterization will be used. The variability of these characteristics will be also studied (seasonality, influences of storage conditions (temperature, time, aerobic or anaerobic conditions) at the source or at the point of treatment...). - Without any “a-priori” consideration, to identify and evaluate pathways of recovery, directly or after post-treatment of digestates, in order to generate products with market value. - With a "reverse engineering" approach, taking into account both the quality of the inputs and the types of process, develop and validate the identified recovery ways. An objective will be to ensure a 'controlled' quality of recoverable digestate. SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SKILLS Master of Science in Process Engineering (bioprocess) PHD CONTRACT Industrial Contract “CIFRE” of 36 months (oct 2015- sept 2018): 28 000 euros/year CONTACTS Send CV and motivation letter to Marion CREST ([email protected]) and Dominique PATUREAU ([email protected]) Deadline of application: June 15th 2015
