Our current research has indicated the need for the community to be i) aware of HIV/AIDS, the treatment available, and the care and diet for those affected, and lessening and negating the stigma attached to sufferers by family and community members. ii) aware of the importance of healthy diets for avoiding illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes, and the careful and wise spending on foodstuffs with a restricted budget. Iii) introducing Committee members and volunteers to aspects of Management Skills in order to improve the efficiency of their organisations. We target new 15 persons, drawn from Solidarity &Community Action , Leyton Visitation organisation and Redbridge French Speaking Women’s Association empower them to running their organisations.
