Cathedral and the Close are visited by
over 500,000 people a year. Many come
as tourists or to worship, while others
attend some of the many events taking

Calshot Activities Centre is one of the
largest Adventure Centres in Britain.
Situated in a unique position on the
shores of the Solent, its magnificent
setting provides access to the country’s
most popular Water sports location.

Blashford Lakes
Day in the open air
Blashford lakes is a large plot of land on
the edge of the New Forest. Many of the
lakes are old quarries that have been
filled with water turning them into lakes.
Most of these lakes are now persevered
for wiled life where you and go bird
watching but a couple of the lakes are
used for
• Water skiing
• Wake boarding
• Wind sailing
• Canoeing
