He was visiting scholar in the United States (National Gallery of Art, Washington), Japan, Brazil and China. He has an administrator experience for universities in the Middle East and the United States. I’m a usabilist engineer and a design manager, and in my past I used to be a biologist. I did an Industrial Design master of research at ENSAM Paris Tech, and a PhD still pending on, about design studies. My research activities, through the StrateResearch team management, are focused on 4 major fields : experience design (transversal research), design and sustainaibility, new technologies and specially social robots and the management by design. I’m heading 2 educational activities the mastère innovation and design and the MBA management by design. Jenny Althoff, Senior Lecturer, Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design [email protected] Ulf Dalnäs, Head of the Academy of Design and Crafts within the University of Gothenburg [email protected] Ulf Dalnäs has held several international assignments, including member of the board (2006–2014) and Vice President (2010–2012) of the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA). In 2010 he was chairman of the board for the ELIA Biennial Conference in Nantes, France. On a national level he has represented art educations in the Bologna expert group 2008–2013. Since 2015 Ulf Dalnäs is the Head of the Academy of Design and Crafts within the University of Gothenburg. Kristoffersson has published a number of articles and essays on various aspects of design, fashion, art and architecture and lectures widely on these topics at museums and universities. Her research lies in the area of cultural images of Sweden and Swedish design. She is currently working on a research project on The Swedish Cooperative Union’s design. Her recent book is Design by IKEA. A Cultural History (Bloomsbury, 2014) which also have been translated and published into several other languages.
