Le Bibent - Christian Constant
Le Bibent "Bibent" in Occitane evokes a "good drink". En collaboration Avec Christian Constant, Christophe Marque Chef de Cuisine & Arnaud Enjalbert Directeur de Salle sont heureux de vous accueillir tous les jours au Bibent. The History of Bibent begins in the nineteenth century. Restored initially 1881 to 1882, its stucco decoration is typical of the Belle Epoque. The building is listed under the historical monuments in 1975 for its interior decoration. In the last century, Jean Jaurès then a journalist with La Depeche de Toulouse, wrote his articles here. It was also at the Bibent that three Serbian students, enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and affiliated with the pan-Slavic secret society The Black Hand, conceived plans for the assassination that were to cost the life of the Archduke of Austria, Francis Ferdinand on 28th June 1914 in Sarajevo. Did World War I begin on the terrace of Bibent?... We are pleased to offer you the pleasure of writing, philosophizing, discussing or simply meeting friends to share a moment and a good meal together at the newly renovated Bibent.
