Jour 1 : Montpellier
Morning arrival to Montpellier.
Lunch in a restaurant located in the old town center.
In the afternoon, guided city tour of the town, its
private mansions, medieval streets et its famous
medical school.
Overnight in Montpellier.
Jour 2 : Sète et le bassin de Thau – journée

Morning departure from your hotel and drive to
Sète. Panoramic drive throught the city to discover
the ports and stop on the Mount St Clair to enjoy a
panoramic view over the town, the Mediterranean
sea and the salt water lagoon of Thau.
City guided tour of the old streets and of the covered
market to discover the local products
Lunch in Sète or Bouzigues.
In the afternoon, cruise on the salt water laggon of
Thau to discover the oyster production and benches.
End of the tour in local winnery to enjoy a glass of a
typical local wine, the muscat.
Drive back to Montpellier.
Jour 3 : St Guilhem le désert et vignobles
Morning departure from your hotel. Drive to Saint-Guilhem le
Désert in the back-country north of Montpellier. Stop at the
ancient Devil’s bridge and take guided tour of the village and
of the Abbey of Gellone, created in the VIIIth century by
Guillaume d'Orange. This is one of the best examples of
Romanesque architecture in the Languedoc region. Lunch in
the village. In the afternoon, let’s go for a leisurely canoe trip
down the gorges of the Hérault river. There are two options:
4 km or 12 km. We’ll end the day with wine tasting at a local
winery. Return to Montpellier.
