Colloque du CEIPI : Les Défis du Droit des Marques au XXIème siècle
Conference of CEIPI : Challenges for Trademark Law in the XXIst Century
Le Laboratoire de recherche du CEIPI, en collaboration avec le groupe français de l’Association
Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété intellectuelle (AIPPI), organise les 19 et 20 juin un
grand colloque en l’honneur de M. le Professeur Yves REBOUL.
Le thème sera "Les défis du droit des marques au XXIème siècle".
Vous pouvez télécharger ci-dessous le programme ainsi que le bulletin d'inscription à retourner au
plus tard le vendredi 12 juin. Cette manifestation est validée au titre de la formation continue des
avocats.
The CEIPI Research Laboratory, in partnership with the French group of AIPPI (Association
Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété intellectuelle) organises an important conference in
honour of Professor Yves REBOUL to be held the 19 and 20 June.
The topic will be: “Challenges of trademark law in the XXIst century”.

historique et actuelle de la Loi de la Reine Anne dans les pays de droit civil»

present, of the Statute of Anne, on civil law countries” at the annual conference "From 1710 to

Etude du CEIPI pour le Parlement Européen
CEIPI Study for the European Parliament
Le CEIPI a conduit à la demande du Parlement Européen une étude synthétique visant à retracer le
rôle du Parlement dans l'élaboration de la législation communautaire en matière de propriété
intellectuelle.
Cette note, rédigée par Christophe Geiger, Maître de conférences et Directeur Général du CEIPI et
Emmanuel Py, Docteur en droit et chercheur au CEIPI, sera remise aux députés européens de la
nouvelle législature lors de leur prise de fonction et a vocation à éclairer les travaux à venir du
Parlement Européen en matière de perfectionnement de l'acquis communautaire.

At the request of the European Parliament, CEIPI has done a synthetic study recalling the role of the
Parliament in developing intellectual property community legislation. This note, written by Christophe
Geiger, Associate Professor and General Director of CEIPI and Emmanuel Py, Phd in Law and
researcher at CEIPI, will be handed to the European Deputies of the new legislature and is meant to
clarify the upcoming work of the European Parliament regarding the improvement of community asset.

Etude pour le Parlement européen
Le CEIPI à l’Université de Skopje en Madédoine
CEIPI at the University of Skopje, Macedonia
Onze Facultés de droit d’Europe de l’Est se sont réunies pour proposer une formation d’une année
débouchant sur un diplôme de Master en Droit Européen des Affaires.
Le CEIPI participe à ce programme et sera présent à l’ Université de Skopje en Macédoine. Stéphanie
Carre, Maître de conférences au CEIPI et à l’Université de Strasbourg, donnera un cours sur le Droit
d’auteur, tandis que Yann Basire, Assistant chercheur au CEIPI fera une intervention sur la Marque
Communautaire et les Dessins et Modèles Communautaires.
The consortium of eleven Law Faculties from South East Europe is offering a 1-year master
programme leading to a Master’s degree in EU Business Law. Lectures will be given by Regional and
International Staff.
CEIPI will participate to this programme at the University of Skopje, Macedonia. Stéphanie Carre,
Associate Professor at the CEIPI and at the University of Strasbourg will give a lecture in the field of
Copyright and Yann Basire, Research Assistant at the CEIPI will give a lecture in the field of
Community Trademarks and Community Designs.
Deux étudiants du CEIPI présentent leurs travaux de recherche à l’OHMI
Two CEIPI students present their works at the OHIM
Dans le cadre de l'Université « Network Research Session » organisé par l'OHMI le 29 et 30 avril
2009, deux étudiants du CEIPI se sont rendus à Alicante aux sièges de l'OHMI afin de présenter leurs
travaux de recherche.
M. Rémi Amsili a présenté son travail intitulé "The notion of disclosure pursuant to article 7 and 11(2)
of the Community design regulation: requirements and mean of proof". Quant à Mlle Cécile Giacometti,
elle a étudié la question: "Are the test for the validity and the infringement of a community design "the
obverse and reverse of the same coin?".
Within the framework of the University Network Research, two CEIPI students went to Alicante,
headquarter of the OHIM to present their researches.

Mlle Caroline RODA, titulaire d’un Master 2 à finalité Recherche du CEIPI en 2007, est recrutée au
CEIPI au poste d’assistant chercheur.
We are very pleased to inform you that Emmanuel PY, a research assistant at CEIPI, has been newly
qualified for application at the position of associate professor.
Miss Caroline RODA, holder of a PhD in Intellectual Property from CEIPI since 2007 has been newly

Two CEIPI students reach the final of the National Mock Trial Competition
Nous sommes fiers de vous annoncer que Mlle Marie BRECHANT, étudiante du master 2 Droit de la
Propriété Intellectuelle parcours « distribution, commerce international » et Mlle Alya BLOUM,
étudiante du master 2 Droit de la Propriété Intellectuelle parcours « contrats, transferts de technique,
concurrence» du CEIPI sont arrivées finalistes de la première édition du concours national de
plaidoirie en propriété intellectuelle qui a eu lieu à l’Université de Nantes les 19 et 20 mars 2009.
CEIPI is proud to announce that Miss Marie BRECHANT, student in the Master 2 “Intellectual Property,
Distribution Networks, International Trade Law” and Miss Alya BLOUM, student in the Master 2
“Intellectual Property, Contracts, Competition Law”, have reached the final of the first session from the
“national mock trial competition in intellectual property” that was held a the University of Nantes the
19 and 20 March 2009.

Le CEIPI propose désormais 5 Masters en spécialité droit de la propriété intellectuelle, dont un
nouveau diplôme, le « Master 2 Droit de la propriété intellectuelle et patrimoine culturel ». Le CEIPI
propose également en partenariat avec l’Université de Strasbourg, le « Masters 2 Droit du Multimédia
et des systèmes d'information ».
