T h e Royal N e t h e r l a n d s E m b a s s y p r e s e n t s its c o m p l i m e n t s to the M i n i s t r y o f Foreign
Affairs o f the R e p u b l i c o f M o l d o v a and h a s the h o n o u r to p r o p o s e that the application o f
the E u r o p e a n C o n v e n t i o n on Extradition o f 13 D e c e m b e r 1957, in a c c o r d a n c e with Article
2 7 , p a r a g r a p h 4 , be e x t e n d e d to the N e t h e r l a n d s Antilles and A r u b a , and that the d e c l a r a tions and r e s e r v a t i o n s that apply in r e l a t i o n s b e t w e e n t h e K i n g d o m of the N e t h e r l a n d s , in
respect o f the K i n g d o m in E u r o p e , a n d t h e R e p u b l i c o f M o l d o v a shall also a p p l y in relations b e t w e e n the R e p u b l i c o f M o l d o v a a n d the K i n g d o m o f the N e t h e r l a n d s in respect o f
the N e t h e r l a n d s A n t i l l e s and A r u b a .
If this p r o p o s a l is a c c e p t a b l e to t h e G o v e r n m e n t o f t h e R e p u b l i c of M o l d o v a , the E m b a s s y h a s t h e h o n o u r further to p r o p o s e that this N o t e a n d t h e Ministry's affirmative r e p l y
shall constitute an a r r a n g e m e n t as p r o v i d e d for in Article 2 7 , p a r a g r a p h 4, o f t h e C o n v e n tion, w h i c h shall e n t e r into force on t h e first day o f t h e t h i r d m o n t h following the date on
w h i c h the E m b a s s y r e c e i v e s the M i n i s t r y ' s reply.
T h e Royal N e t h e r l a n d s E m b a s s y avails itself o f the o p p o r t u n i t y to r e n e w to the M i n istry o f Foreign Affairs o f the R e p u b l i c o f M o l d o v a the a s s u r a n c e s of its h i g h e s t c o n s i d e r ation.
