Sep 2004- Aug 2005: Temporary assistant professor at the ENS-Cachan. Research and development of polymerbased biochips. Development of a new micro/nano-polymer fabrication technology.
Nov 2002- Aug 2004: MEMS development at STMicroelectronics. Industrial research and development of
silicon-based biochips. Research topics: biochips for drug screening and biomedical treatment (electroporation),
collaboration with Biomis laboratory, the INSERM and the CEA-LETI) ; chemical microsystem for environmental
detection, collaboration with chemist of the University of Rennes.
Exploration of various technologies involving polymers and plastics replications processes (rapid prototyping).
Nov 2001- Nov 2002: Post-doctoral position at the Fujita Lab of Tokyo University in the Institute of Industrial
Science within the framework of the LIMMS funded by the JSPS post-doc fellowship program. Research topics
related to microfluidics and BioMEMS using soft-lithography. Microsystems for controlled growth of biological
neural networks over microelectrodes to record their electrical activity (collaboration with the Japan Advanced
Institute of Science and Technology). Microfluidic structures for individual cell handling (collaboration with the
Institute of Physical and Chemical Research RIKEN).
Sept 1998- Oct 2001: Ph. D Thesis. Development of power consumption models for ASICs architectural modules.
Realization of a software for high-level power estimation of VLSI circuits combined to a high-level synthesis tool.
Proposals of methods for power consumption reduction.

(National Institute of Applied Sciences) of Rennes.
