Biographie
Roy THURIK, Professeur en économie et entrepreneuriat à Erasmus University Rotterdam et
professeur en entrepreneuriat à Free University Amsterdam. Il est conseiller scientifique pour
Panteia à Zoetermeer (Pays-Bas) et directeur de la recherche au Groupe Sup de Co
Montpellier Business School (France). Il est également research fellow de deux autres
établissements de renommée : Tinbergen Institute for Economic Sciences et Erasmus
Research Institute for Management. Ses recherches portent sur le rôle des petites entreprises
dans les marchés, le rôle des chefs d’entreprises dans les entreprises, l’organisation
industrielle et la politique, la géno-économie, l’entrepreneuriat naissant, et les conséquences
et causes de l’entrepreneuriat dans l’économie. Ses travaux sont publiés dans plus de deux
cents articles dans des revues internationales prestigieuses. Il est (co-)éditeur de plusieurs
ouvrages académiques et membre de comité de lecture d’un nombre de revues scientifiques. Il
a fait du consulting pour un grand nombre d’entreprises et d’institutions nationales et
