Notice is hereby given to the Unitholders of the subfund Credit Suisse (Lux) Relative Return Engineered EUR Bond Fund (the “Subfund”) that the Management Company of the Fund, has decided to amend the investment objective and policy as well as the denomination of the Subfund which shall be denominated "Credit Suisse (Lux) Sustainable Bond Fund". The new characteristics of the Subfund shall be read as follows: Investment Objective and Investment Policy The objective of this Subfund is primarily to achieve a high and steady income based on the performance of bonds with medium to long-term maturities while preserving the value of the assets. The Subfund's investments may be denominated in any currency. The choice of investments is oriented to the compliance with international norms and standards in the “Environment, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)” field. In addition, securities from issuers active in fields including but not limited to production of cluster bombs or landmines or generate a significant part of their revenues in alcohol, tobacco, gambling, weapons, firearms, adult entertainment or nuclear energy industries, are excluded. The total net assets of the Subfund shall be invested mainly in medium to long-term debt instruments, bonds, notes, similar fixed-interest or floating-rate securities (including securities issued on a discount basis) of public, private and semi-private issuers from the investment grade area, denominated in any currency. The Subfund may invest up to 25% of its total net assets in convertible bonds, convertible notes and warrant bonds and up to 10% of its total net assets in asset-backed debt securities and mortgage-backed debt securities of average or high quality (rated at least “BBB–” by Standard & Poor’s or “Baa3” by Moody’s). In addition to direct investments, the Subfund may invest in contract futures and options as well as swap transactions (interest-rate swaps) for the purpose of hedging and efficient portfolio management, provided due account is taken of the investment restrictions set out in Chapter 6, “Investment Restrictions”. Furthermore, the Subfund may actively manage its currency and credit exposure through the use of currency futures, swap transactions and credit default swaps. In particular, and subject to the investment restrictions set out in Chapter 6, “Investment Restrictions”, section 3 g) and 3 h) of the prospectus the Management Company may use securities (credit linked notes) as well as techniques and instruments (credit default swaps) for the purpose of managing the credit risk. This Subfund may enter into commitments from credit default swaps not serving the purpose of hedging for up to 100% of its total net assets, though the commitments arising from the protection-buying and protection-providing positions may not in total exceed 100% of the total net assets of the Subfund. For the purpose of duration management, this Subfund may make greater use of interest rate futures, subject to the investment restrictions set out in Chapter 6, “Investment Restrictions”, section 3) of the prospectus. Contrary to what is set forth in Chapter 6, section 3 e), “Investment Restrictions”, the Subfund may, for the purpose of managing interest rate risks, buy and sell interest rate futures contracts in any currency; the commitments entered into may exceed the value of the securities held in this currency, but may not exceed the total net assets of the Subfund. By exercising conversion and subscription rights or options and warrants held separately from warrant bonds, up to 10% of the respective total net assets of this Subfund may be invested on a temporary basis in shares, other equity interests, dividend right certificates and similar securities with equity features. Global Exposure The global exposure of the Subfund will be calculated on the basis of the commitment approach. Specific Risk Information In addition to the risks listed in Chapter 7, “Risk Factors” of the prospectus, potential investors should note that the Subfunds’ investment universe is not limited in terms of the issuers’ size or their geographic region. Furthermore, and Please also refer to the codes at the end of this document. 1/11 Credit Suisse Fund Management S.A. société anonyme 5, rue Jean Monnet, L-2180 Luxembourg R.C.S. Luxembourg B 72 925 (the “Management Company”) (die «Verwaltungsgesellschaft») (la «Société de gestion») acting in its own name and on behalf of CS Investment Funds 13 Information to the unitholders of Mitteilung an die Anteilinhaber des Avis aux porteurs de parts du CS INVESTMENT FUNDS 13 (the “Fund”) (der «Fonds») (le «Fonds») Fonds commun de placement subject to the investment principles set out above, the Subfund may undertake investments in emerging markets and make use of derivative instruments; investors are thus advised to note the corresponding risks set out in Chapter 7, “Risk Factors”. Emerging countries and developing markets are defined as countries which are not classified by the World Bank as high income countries. In addition, high income countries which are included in an emerging market financial index of a leading service provider may also be considered as emerging countries and developing markets if deemed appropriate by the Management Company in the context of a Subfund’s universe. Potential investors should also note that investments in asset-backed securities (ABS) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS) are debt securities issued by a special purpose vehicle (SPV) with the aim to pass through of liabilities of third parties other than the parent company of the issuer. Such securities are protected by an asset pool (mortgages in the case of MBS and various types of assets in the case of ABS). Owing to the divergent structure and particular features of these instruments compared with traditional bonds (corporate bonds or sovereign debt), these transactions may exhibit divergent characteristics in terms of counterparty and interest rate risk as well as other types of risks, such as reinvestment risk arising from built-in termination rights (prepayment options), credit risks on the underlying assets and advance repayments of principal resulting in a lower total return (especially if repayment of the debt is not concurrent with redemption of the assets underlying the claims). In addition, potential investors should note that various money flow risks arising from adjustments necessitated by subscriptions and redemptions may reduce the targeted return. Profile of the Typical Investor The Subfund is suitable for investors who wish to invest in a broadly diversified portfolio of transferable debt instruments and claims, issued by sustainable international and supranational organizations, private borrowers, semipublic and public borrowers. 2. Notice is hereby given to the Unitholders of the subfunds listed below that the Management Company of the Fund has decided to amend the description of the investment policy for clarification and transparency reasons and to specify in Chapter 22, “Subfunds” of the prospectus that the subfunds may invest in contingent convertible instruments up to a maximum of 10% respectively 20% of the Subfund’s assets. Notice is hereby given to the Unitholders of the subfunds Credit Suisse (Lux) Asia Corporate Bond Fund and Credit Suisse (Lux) Asia Local Currency Bond Fund (for the purpose of this point the "Subfunds") that for the purpose of investing in India, the Fund must obtain a certificate of registration as “Foreign Portfolio Investor” (“FPI”) from a designated depositary participant (“DDP”) and that the Indian laws and regulations on anti-money laundering require certain entities such as banks, financial institutions and FPIs to conduct client identification procedures and to establish the beneficial owner of the assets (“Client ID”) and to maintain a record of Client ID and certain kinds of transaction,. Accordingly, the Indian regulations have the ability to seek information from the Fund as FPI holder on the identity of beneficial owners of the Subfunds so that information regarding investors of the Subfunds may be required for disclosure to local supervisory authorities. In particular investors shall note that, in order to enable the Subfunds to comply with the Indian laws and regulations, any natural person who, whether acting alone or together, or through one or more juridical persons, exercises control through ownership or who ultimately has a controlling ownership interest above 25% of the respective Subfund’s assets will be required to disclose its identity to the DDP.
