cabriolet de la clbre 911 est prsente au public Genve. Elle est trs apprcie par la clientle et s'offre un succs assez
important. Au Salon de Frankfort 1987, Porsche prsente un prototype avec des saute-vent remplaant le pare-brise et
avec un arceau. Elle tait plutt destine l'utilisation sur circuit. L'ide fut bonne puisque l'anne d'aprs, la firme de Stuttgart
dcide de sortir le modle 911 Speedster - nom mythique utilis par les 356 venant du mot " speed " et " roadster ". La
voiture est base sur un cabriolet 911 Carrera. Les deux places arrires sont tes au profit d'un couvre-capote en
polyester de la couleur de la caisse, le pare-brise est remplac par un modle plus troit et inclin et les vitres latrales
deviennent plus dessines et courtes en hauteur. Ce splendide Speedster, dition trs limite, a t livr neuf un certain
Warren B. Eads Rolling Hills en Californie le 9 juillet 1989 et a t entretenu par le rseau Porsche amricain au vue du
carnet d'entretien. Le bolide a t import en 2008 par un intermdiaire et le deuxime propritaire, un homme d'affaires
luxembourgeois, en fait l'acquisition pour s'en servir dans sa maison de campagne en Limousin. Trs peu utilise et
sortie de son garage uniquement par beau temps, cette Porsche n'a que 23 177 miles (environ 35 000 km) et se
prsente dans un tat proche du neuf. Le compartiment moteur dmontre un entretien pouss. Ses siges en cuir noir
n'ont subi aucune rayure et ne marquent aucune trace d'usure, tout comme la capote. Son dmarrage est immdiat et
ses acclrations saines. Elle sera livre avec ses carnets, manuels d'origine et sa trousse outils complte. Cette 911 au
look ravageur est un vritable plaisir pour les yeux et la conduite, tout en rappelant qu'il s'agit d'un modle la fiabilit
lgendaire. Trs recherche, elle est l'automobile parfaite pour les escapades en week-end ou les longs voyages deux.

In 1981, a cabriolet version of the famous 911 was presented to the public in Geneva. It was an important success
and a hit with the clientle. At the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1987 Porsche displayed a prototype with roll hoops and tiny
screen in place of the windsceen, geared more towards use on the circuit. The idea was good, and the following
year, the Stuttgart firm launched the 911 Speedster model, the legendary name coming from 'speed' and 'roadster'
that had been used for the 356s. The car was based on a 911 Carrera cabriolet. The two rear seats were sacrificed
to allow room for a fabric hood the colour of the body, and the windscreen became shallower and more inclined, with
the side windows styled lower. This splendid Speedster, from a very limited edition, was delivered new to a certain
Warren B. Eads from Rolling Hills in California on 9 July 1989. It was maintained by the Porsche network in the US
as evident in the service book. The car was imported into Europe via an intermediary and the second owner, a
businessman from Luxembourg acquired it for use at his country house in Limousin. Rarely used and only driven in
fine weather, this Porsche has covered just 23,177 miles and is in almost-new condition. The engine has clearly been
thoroughly maintained. The black leather seats and the hood are unmarked and show no signs of wear. The car
starts immediately and accelerates freely. It comes with service books, original owner's manual and complete toolkit.
